That is one of the criticisms of limited atonement, and basically goes into the problem of evil, as the counter-claim is that God has greater plans and seeks greater goods, and ultimately the greater goods argument is non-falsifiable or verifiable.

people hate calvinism because it stresses god soverignty over us. In which he controls everything which he does(romans 11:36). We actually dont have free will because God has predestined us and this is true as well. See romans 9:11-26; Epheisans 1:4.

Aside from hell, predestination is probably the most unpopular bible doctrine because it is God who chooses who he wants to save
