Hm... Michael Moore, Hillary Clinton, John Edwards, John Kerry, Al Gore... yeah, I'm gonna have to call bull on you here. Don't be an idiot, and stop portraying American politics as some Marxist class-warfare nonsense.

the class-warfare non-sense. sorry...was speaking more in a general term.

i hear it a lot out here from masses of pseudo political hacks who believe anything alex jones tells them without even reading the documents he presents as evidence.

uh, like i said, i hear it a lot so it's getting obnoxious.

No, he prefers to be called Raghead, the Christian jihadist.

if these are typical examples of democrats..
let be the one to call "bull".. and you're standing in it.

class war?.. whatever

justify the theft of the American dream anyway you like.
If things continue they way they have been, the day will
come when the "have nots" (largely democrat) will scale
the walls of your gated community.

Perhaps it is the republican leaders who are responsible
for the widening of the gap and the middleclass squeeze
but it doesnt take a genius to put 2 and 2 together and
blame anyone who voted for them.

the widening gap has everything to do with no one taking care of themselves. including in being informed on the issues and who is doing what. there's more than enough that isn't secret to where it's purely the voter's fault for ignorance. which goes back to my complaint about intellectual laziness.

yours manifests itself in classwar rhetoric that makes you sound like a 16 year old who's listening to crass for the first time. does nothing to improve the situation and only alienates those from when you do finally hit a point correctly. your ideology is flawed and your worldview is almost as narrow as raggy's.

Nope, not typical. But I can name off more rich Democrats off the top of my head than I can rich Republicans. A lot of Democrats are college students. Not exactly an oppressed class.

Yeah, that sounds like a call to class war to me. Democrats as a whole are not any less wealthy than Republicans. People with advanced degrees are more likely to be Democrats; are these the "have nots?" And anyways, I'm not especially wealthy, or going into a career field where I can expect to be. If we reenact the French Revolution, I won't be the one getting guillotined for being too rich.
And frankly, there has been no "theft of the American dream." There is more opportunity for people who are willing to work hard than there ever has been before, in any society. If you're too damn lazy to take responsibility for yourself, it's not the fault of whatever Republican happens to be in office.

The theft of the American dream? Who can take such an abstraction? What does it even mean? Frankly, neither the left nor the right were able to get a 2/3rds supermajority of any of the socioeconomic groups in the 2004 election. Not only that, but still, in order to even push this kind of a populistic direction, we really do have to establish some better terminology of when the American dream existed and what it was. I don't think that a have not revolution is likely in anything approaching the near future.

Well, what is responsible for the changes in labor market composition is certain trends in the work force, such as the changes brought on by technology allowing for US production to be streamlined as shown by the declining manufacturing sector but actually an increasing productivity. As well, we also have pressures placed by foreign competition. Really though, worse inequalities have existed in America, and honestly, like I already stated, we need to quantify whatever we define as "the American dream" to know when it existed, if it existed, etc, as after all, the American dream does embody some mythical elements of our culture.

I dont know who Crass is and I dont care.
Let me guess though.. You know I am a patriot
so this Crass guy must be a communist right?
Your attempt to offend me has failed.

Dont presume to know or understand my situation.
All you need to know is that I destroy any who would
oppress me or look down their self righteous arrogant
nose at me or my family. There isnt a a degree of
wealth that will shield a man from my wrath should
I decide they are deserving of it.

My ideology is correct. You just dont like to hear it
because it represents not only the truth but a reality
you are uncomfortable with. My worldview is every bit
as valid as the rags, but lacks his sense of pompous
overbearing superiority.
