I agree with that. Jesus the man did exist. Probably more evidence for him than King Arthur.

I could take Jesus existing as a man...

But when it goes into the realm of divine zombie... .

not really as much evidence as you'd think. the christian religions certainly do push it to seem like there's more evidence...but there aren't many historical references outside of religious texts.

one problem is there's so many forgeries trying to prove his existence. but most likely jesus, the person, did exist and was most likely in the same league as simon bar kochba or apollonius of tyanna or john the baptist (look up the mandaeans).

I voted for Satan because I like devil's food cake more than angel's food cake.

I agree, he probably would have also been interesting to meet, however as far as mythological divinities are concerned, I gotta go with the other guy on the account that those who ascribe to proper Satanism are nowhere near as violent, or prone to genocide as Jesus' followers have been throughout history.

Jesus is a character who plays the role of "son of God" in Christianity and the role of a prophet in Islam under the name "Isa". Satan is a character who plays the role of "the most evil one" in Christianity and the role of "the most evil and powerful genie" in Islam under the name "Iblis". There's no documented proof of their existence.

A neutral point of view.

Yeah.

i like various philosophies (particularly the very specific admonishment of ignorance and the idea of "you are your own god") from it but lavey was a drama queen b***h.

Essentially true, but then he grew up in a Carnival also where a lot of the drama was for the purposes of hucksterism and making a few bucks.

I personally disagree with a lot his stuff as well. Most of what he did was revive other people's work, notably that of Ayn Rand, and a guy who wrote under the pseudonym of Ragnar Redbeard. --All he did for the most part was to consolidate that work and put it in a new package.

it's not really his style to accommodate towards others' beliefs. most likely neither is as good as satan for him.

Divine zombie? No, that's wrong. Jesus came back from the dead but not as a zombie. That's just an entirely ignorant and dumba$$ thing to say.

Jesus' personality is far greater when you are exposed to the apocryphal writings. If we are taking the Christo-Islamic interpretations of Satan, then such a creature exists not like Jesus so there would be no reason for me to vote for such a deceiving being.

I've always loved monasticism. Jesus was an ascetic and a renouncer. I admire that about him.

Sorry, but yes, it is.

Not at all -- it's far more profound than that.
