Seems to say that you're lacking basic knowledge of anatomy.

I am well aware that you are claiming that I'm lacking "basic knowledge of anatomy", but you still you haven't explained how it's "basic knowledge of anatomy". I'm waiting.

How is it not? Are you public schooled?

You're making the claim, so you could perhaps, you know, actually back up your claim to someone as uneducated as me.

Actually, you made the first claim about "Slot B... is also used for urination.", so would you care to back up your anatomical claim?

I've admitted that I was wrong about that. You, however, has claimed that it's "basic knowledge of anatomy" and still havan't backed that claim up. I'm starting to suspect it's you who lack basic reading comprehension.

Perhaps I do lack it, as I never noticed an actual admission of being wrong until your just previous post.

As for it being basic anatomical knowledge, it is. If you had taken any courses which discuss anatomy and physiology, then you should have known this factoid. You did not know this, therefore you may have not taken a course which discusses anatomy and physiology. So, whether you just didn't retain this factoid or you've not taken this type of course, who is to blame, you or your educational system?

iamnotaparakeet: On a human female, the urethra is not connected to the vagina. Did you not know that?
Henriksson: I'm not overly interested in female sexual organs, no.

How are courses which "discuss anatonomy and physiology" to the level were they discuss that particular factoid "basic"? I'm currently studying Biology B.

lol Urethra aside, the vagina can still be pretty icky when you consider menstrual blood. (Unless, of course you're into that sort of thing!)

One doesn't have to take a course in female anatomy to determine that a female human has only two openings between her legs. One is anal and the other is both vaginal and urethral. I have encountered a few woman in my lifetime and without exception this relationship has held true. ( I am not only unfamiliar with the body openings of parakeets, I have never had either the inclination or opportunity to engage them in sexual intercourse so I cannot reliably testify as to their body arrangements. That is another reason I suspect he really is a parakeet)

But these things can be settled very simply without the formality of a physiology course. Just stop any random female human on the street and indicate you are making a public survey and would like to examine her vaginal and urethral openings to confirm your suspicions. I'm sure you will get an enthusiastic response all out of proportion to your simple calm request.

I thought I only had 2 openings.

This is the dumbest conversation I've had all day and I spend most of my time debating with toddlers.

That you aren't "overly interested in female sexual organs", is not an admission of anything but lack of interest.

It was in the second biology course that I learned this factoid anyhow, an advanced biology course focusing on human anatomy and physiology. Anyhow, I do have one question I'd like you to seriously answer: How does it feel to be the object of scorn and mockery?

That's some strong words iamnotaparakeet. Please take them back. This is not going in a very good direction otherwise. If anyone here is an object of scorn or mockery then I'm leaving - or I'll do something else. I don't know what. But this is not good.

I'm not going to be picking on Henriksson anymore, and you neither. Henriksson is capable of understanding my point here, that's why I choose to focus and dwell upon his factual error. The thing is, so often on this subforum, little details become paramount and people deride topics and endlessly ridicule one another, like what DentAuthurDent and Sand do. I'd like it if some people finally understood that it is not only moot and meaningless, but can be painful as well. Such character assassination is quite unnecessary and is usually and attempt to detract from a main argument and pretend victory once their opponent gets tired of insults.

Thanks for that iamnotaparakeet. You make a good point with that last sentence. And some of these insults can be quite funny. But I guess that's the problem with humour being subjective. Anyhow perhaps I should have stayed out of it. It's my own fault for being so dramatic about it. For all I know - everyone else thought your statement was funny! Oh well.

It's just a matter of anatomy, Nonparakeet. No scorn involved. One hole for solid matter, one hole for urine, monthly bloodletting and babies. Crap on me all you want if it makes you feel better but don't expect me to creep into a hole and die. We both know that my opinion holds no power over anybody and talk is just fun.
