It's not worth explaining to someone who doesn't get certain distinctions.
No, we understand the fact you hate him because he is a Conservative and not afraid to speak his mind, you furthermore hate him because he is now rich and you think you deserve his money which he worked for and you didn't.
Quite frankly, Rush doesn't owe you anything, Michael Moore is wealthy but I don't think he owes me anything, he's rich kudos to him for being successful.
I don't hate Rush because he's rich, or just because he speaks his mind. I don't think hate even qualifies for how I feel about him. Rather, I dislike him because he's a font of misinformation, and that there are people out there who have been convinced by him that anyone who disagrees with him is evil of simple minded. I really can't stand how he could care less about the long term harm his hate spewing could do, all for the sake of higher ratings.
And as a matter of fact, I rather like Michael Moore - but I don't hold every word of his as sacrosanct.

You mean the long term hate like you engaging in blood libel? Or do you think it is okay when you do it because it conforms with your leftist views. There is a leftist on this board that pmed another member of this board saying they wanted to hit said individual with a shovel, and you want to tell me that the people spewing the hate are on the right you are full of it.
What next you gonna try to slander Rush by trying to blame him for the Tuscon shooting too?
I've already completely debunked the Glenn Beck advocating violence argument. If the left spent half the time reasoning things through that they do in trying to smear people, they might actually come up with decent ideas (key word is might).
And just when did I bring up the Tuscon shooting? I was actually referring to the ugly political divide in this country, which people like Limbaugh and Beck had helped to create by demonizing their opposition.

I put in bold the key words, I didn't say you had brought up the Tuscon shootings yet, I was insinuating that would probably be the next thing you would be blaming him for. Reason being you were already insinuating he was trying to incite violence to get ratings with absolutely no proof whatsoever (heck the facts contradict you).
Well, I was never planning to bring in that shooting. Again, I was talking about Limbaugh and his ilk dividing people by politics, and to a degree, class - and yes, race - in order to demonize anyone who isn't a conservative.

And he and Beck have repeatedly stated not to commit violence, in fact they said it would be playing into the left's hands.

I would call Limbaugh's caustic attacks on President Obama, First Lady Michelle, as well as anyone associated with them to be hate inspired. No one can deny that the humor he uses against them is cruel.
For instance, he played the infamous "Barack the magic negro" song to ridicule and demean the President. He fed into the birther lunacy by announcing that only God and Barack Obama have no birth certificate. He has accused the president of ruling through decree like a dictator in order to fire up the ditto heads. He has pushed the death panel lie. He tore into the First Lady's nutrition program, claiming this was a case of the government stepping into people's lives. I could go on and on, but I won't, suffice to say that there isn't a word of truth in this horses**t Limbaugh spouts.
And yes, CNN is an objective source. I have never heard a single word out of them that was politically motivated, unfair, or biased.

No, telling the truth does not demonize your neighbors. It only serves to create division and suspicion. And as a matter of fact, there was a case in which a right wing cracker pulled the trigger on liberals. This was when a nutbag right winger had read Bernie Goldberg's book on the One Hundred Most Dangerous People In America (a book slamming liberals like Michael Moore and Geraldine Gerafolo), and so decided he would shoot up his ex wife's Unitarian church (known for its liberalism). Afterward saying he did it because he couldn't kill the people Goldberg had written about.
I sincerely hope Limbaugh doesn't reach someone like this insane idiot, and inspire him to take out a few more liberals.

Well slight problem with your statement, turns out the President is acting like he can decree things like a dictator.
In a statement issued Friday night, President Obama took issue with some provisions in the budget bill – and in one case simply says he will not abide by it.

Contrary to what the left-wing driveby media would like people to believe, there was death panels and may still be death panels.
An often-overlooked portion of President Barack Obama’s prized health care law, the creation of the Independent Payment Advisory Board (IPAB), will face heat in the coming months from Congress and from the courts. Congressman Phil Roe, Tennessee Republican, told The Daily Caller the IPAB is the “real death panel” in the health care law, as compared to “end-of-life counseling” provisions in Obamacare that former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin once deemed “death panels.”
“This one is the real baby right here – and most people missed this,” Roe told TheDC. “What everybody was talking about, when you saw Sarah Palin and so forth, what they were talking about these advanced directives where you sit down and there’s sort of mandatory counseling – and Medicare paid for it. This IPAB got missed – and it’s the real death panel.”
The board would cap the total amount of money Medicare recipients could get for care. Roe, a practicing doctor before he entered politics, said that means health care decisions will end up being based solely on cost, instead of what the best possible option is for Medicare patients.
“Basically, there’s a certain amount of money that’s allocated for Medicare spending each year,” Roe said in a phone interview. “Once you hit that amount that’s been appropriated, this board, this bureaucratically-appointed board, can then decide, not based on quality or need, but based on strictly cost.”
Congress can recommend different spending amounts, but has to offset any increase in one area with a decrease in another. If Congress doesn’t change anything in the board’s “recommendations” for how much money should be spent per Medicare recipient, their recommendations become law – even without congressional approval or the president’s signature.

And it is, not to mention the First Lady's program is incredibly stupid, people have differing nutritional needs often depending on where they are from.
For instance, some people arguably need a higher meat intake, and fruits and what not in excess could spark diabetes. Food had to be imported to Alaska during the Alaska Gold Rush, because the miners couldn't eat the food the Eskimos could eat without getting sick.

Have you been in a coma or something? There are more liberals on Fox News than there are Conservatives on CNN, NBC, MSNBC, CBS, and ABC combined.
CNN's Jessica Yellin, filling in for host John King on Thursday's "John King, USA," delved into the mystery of Hollywood's disenchantment with President Obama – and wondered if it isn't due to celebrity liberals being "spoiled."
Yellin's guest was outspoken liberal Joy Behar, host of HLN's "The Joy Behar Show" and co-host of ABC's "The View," who believes Obama has more charisma than Lady Gaga.

Story had Partial Transcript and looks like there is a video too:
A transcript of the segment, which aired on April 21 at 7:52 p.m. EDT, is as follows:
JESSICA YELLIN, CNN anchor: President Obama is about to hold a fundraiser in Hollywood, which is a usually reliable piggy bank for Democratic presidential candidates.
But lately, some big stars have been noticeably cooler about President Obama. Listen to this.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
MATT DAMON, actor: I really think he misinterpreted his mandate.
MICHAEL MOORE, filmmaker: I wish he'd start listening to himself and his wife.
ROSEANNE BARR, actress: And the American people who put him there, how about that?
ROBERT REDFORD, actor: Tell President Obama to lead America towards a clean energy future.
SPIKE LEE, film director: And if there's any one time to go off, this is it.
LADY GAGA: We will continue to push you and your administration.
BILL MAHER, comedian: I'm so disappointed that he seems to be another in a long line of Democrats that come across as wimpy, and wussy.
(END VIDEO CLIPS)
YELLIN: Meow.
Joining me now is Joy Behar, as everybody knows, host of HLN's "The Joy Behar Show" and, of course, the co-host of ABC's "The View."
Joy, look, my take is -- celebrities like to get everything they want. They're not getting everything they want. So, they're turning on him. Are they just being spoiled?
JOY BEHAR, HOST, HLN'S "THE JOY BEHAR SHOW": Yes. I think that, you know, at the end of the day, where is the left going to go? So, this is just an exercise in futility, I think.
But they have every right to push him, I suppose, you know. They have to keep pushing him to the left because he is a middle-of- the-road president. He is not a lefty president, despite what the right wing says about him. They keep saying he's a socialist -- that's the biggest joke that he's a socialist.
YELLIN: And they thought they were getting something different. Yes. Maybe celebs thought they were getting someone more to the left. Do you think there's a single biggest issue that's pitting some in Hollywood against him? Is it gay marriage, Guantanamo, the environment?
BEHAR: Well, we are conducting two wars right now.
YELLIN: Right.
BEHAR: And we don't have a lot of money. We keep hearing about that. So, I think that the left is annoyed with him about that. They would like him to bring those two wars to an end.
Gay marriage, I think the guy is pro-gay. I think he's working his way towards that. I have more tolerance for him, I think, because I look at the other side -- I look at the Republican side and I see mental midgets over there. I don't see anybody with any kind of charisma. I see nobody who's really as smart as President Obama. What do I see over there? I see that Donald Trump, a reality star, is leading the pack over there.
YELLIN: People might ask, why are -- why do we care if celebrities are turning on Obama? But the truth is, in this election, the president is staking a lot on the youth vote. And celebrities really do have a huge influence on young people, don't they? Or are we overstating that?
BEHAR: Well, I think that President Obama has influence on the youth vote, as we saw when he was elected in the first place. The youth of America came out in huge numbers. And I think that he has more charisma than Lady Gaga, frankly.
I think that President Obama can get the youth vote because he's very funny also, and he's also very smart and engaging. And he does have an optimistic way to look at the world. And I think that young people want to hear that. They don't want to hear we're in debt, we can't get out, it's a misery everywhere. They want to hear somebody. You know, Ronald Reagan, what was that, "Morning in America"?
YELLIN: Yes.
BEHAR: I think that President Obama will come up with a slogan like that and the young people of America will rally around him again. By the way, can I mention one more thing, Jessica?
YELLIN: Yes.
BEHAR: Middle America, the main votes in a lot of the red states and the swing states do not like Hollywood. So why -- who cares what Hollywood thinks really at the end of the day?
YELLIN: OK. Amen to that, they'd say in Washington.

Anyone who is willing to resort to actions like that are able to internalize things to an extent any sane person is unable to. To blame someone else for this is really dirty. If they're susceptible to killing someone cuz of what they read in a book, then pretty much anything can set em off. Conspiracy theory videos, a 12 year old child prostitute in a movie, their dog telling em to kill someone, beatles records confirming suspicion of an incoming race war, etc... etc...

As for the First Lady's push for nutrition - plenty of Republicans like Huckabee support Michelle Obama, as do plenty of military officers who are concerned about the fitness of future military personnel. Sounds pretty legitimate to me.
And why would any Republican like yourself care what Joy Behar or Hollywood celebrities have to say? I rarely even care, and I'm a liberal.
As for ruling with decree - Bush Jr. did a lot more of that than Obama ever did. In fact, Bush used intimidation to get senatorial and congressional Democrats to vote his way by threatening to smear them otherwise as Anti-American.
And the fact remains, Limbaugh uses cruel and hurtful language to lash out at his opponents. Telling the truth doesn't require that.

Unlike Obama he viewed Americans that disagreed with him as Americans that disagreed with him. Obama on the other hand views any American that disagrees with him as the enemy.

I could care less what this Dr. Roe turned Congressman has to say - he's an obviously biased source.
And you're claiming you don't have a serious bias, how about you look for yourself to backcheck whether or not Dr. Roe knows what he is talking about, since he is an actual Doctor, I would think he is a better source on the matter than you are.

Roe is biased quite simply because he obviously has a political agenda.
Limbaugh's opinions about the First Lady's ideas about nutrition isn't about a difference of opinions, but is based on simply striking out at Obama's wife.
As for Bush using intimidation tactics against his political opposition - ask Max Cleland, Vietnam vet and triple amputee how Bush had smeared him as un American to get him unseated.

-Bill, otherwise known as Kraichgauer
Do you actually read?
Inuyasha wrote:

I put in bold the key words, I didn't say you had brought up the Tuscon shootings yet, I was insinuating that would probably be the next thing you would be blaming him for. Reason being you were already insinuating he was trying to incite violence to get ratings with absolutely no proof whatsoever (heck the facts contradict you).
Well, I was never planning to bring in that shooting. Again, I was talking about Limbaugh and his ilk dividing people by politics, and to a degree, class - and yes, race - in order to demonize anyone who isn't a conservative.
-Bill, otherwise known as Kraichgauer
And he and Beck have repeatedly stated not to commit violence, in fact they said it would be playing into the left's hands.
Again, I am NOT talking about violence. I am talking about demonizing your neighbor.
-Bill, otherwise known as Kraichgauer
Telling the truth =/= denomizing your neighbor.
no one is threatening to take away your name.
I am not trying tease you here but the fear that some one will take your name
away is a symptom of Schizophrenia.
Actually, I think Rumiko Takahashi has the rights to his name.

LADY GAGA: We will continue to push you and your administration.
BILL MAHER, comedian: I'm so disappointed that he seems to be another in a long line of Democrats that come across as wimpy, and wussy.

As for the First Lady's push for nutrition - plenty of Republicans like Huckabee support Michelle Obama, as do plenty of military officers who are concerned about the fitness of future military personnel. Sounds pretty legitimate to me.
You are entitled to your opinion and Rush is entitled to voice his opinion. You are saying that somehow he is a hate monger because he's criticizing something he that he thinks is stupid.
Kraichgauer wrote:
And why would any Republican like yourself care what Joy Behar or Hollywood celebrities have to say? I rarely even care, and I'm a liberal.
I was demonstrating that CNN has a liberal bias, while you claimed it was objective. You're now trying to distract from the issue, because you got caught saying something that wasn't true.

As for ruling with decree - Bush Jr. did a lot more of that than Obama ever did. In fact, Bush used intimidation to get senatorial and congressional Democrats to vote his way by threatening to smear them otherwise as Anti-American.
The Democrats did it to themselves, in all honesty I seriously doubt Bush practiced those intimidation tactics like you're claiming. Unlike Obama he viewed Americans that disagreed with him as Americans that disagreed with him. Obama on the other hand views any American that disagrees with him as the enemy.

And the fact remains, Limbaugh uses cruel and hurtful language to lash out at his opponents. Telling the truth doesn't require that.
What Rush Limbaugh says is nothing compared to the hate filled vile spewed by the left on a regular basis. Like for example saying that someone's grandkids should get HIV and die, or wishing someone would have a heart attack and die.
Roe is biased quite simply because he obviously has a political agenda.
And you're saying you don't have a political agenda...
Kraichgauer wrote:
Limbaugh's opinions about the First Lady's ideas about nutrition isn't about a difference of opinions, but is based on simply striking out at Obama's wife.
That is your opinion, which really doesn't have much in the way of a factual basis putting it mildly.

As for Bush using intimidation tactics against his political opposition - ask Max Cleland, Vietnam vet and triple amputee how Bush had smeared him as un American to get him unseated.
Uh how did Bush smear him, looks more like his political opponent smeared him.

Last I checked President George W. Bush was from Texas not Georgia.

As for wanting someone's grand kids to die of AIDS, or to have a heart attack - do you seriously think I'm going to defend that?
Actually it really wouldn't surprise me.
Kraichgauer wrote:
But in actuality, you're going to find that kind of rhetoric on both sides of the political spectrum.
You very rarely see Conservatives go that far, and I have never heard of Rush saying anything like that, nor has Beck.
If you seriously think I'm going to defend wishing children to die of AIDS, then you really don't know me at all. By the way, I would never think that of you.
As for Max Cleland - Bush had created a political environment in which it was possible for Republicans in Georgia and everywhere else to destroy their political enemies with the charge of anti-Americanism.
As for the First Lady's fight for proper nutrition - she has plenty of defenders, not only in politics, but also the military and medical fields. So yes, the opposition is politically motivated.
As for myself - of course I'm politically biased, as are you.
