Why the Left Loses elections

That must have been someone else. I always say that I'm retiring in 3 years, January, 2023.

I will be at my place 40 years on November 3rd of this year.

Now it's 2 years, 11 1/2 months.

In American politics, there are over a dozen parties:

• Democratic Party
• Republican Party
• Libertarian Party
• Green Party
• Constitution Party
• American Independent Party
• California National Party (proposed)
• Communist Party USA
• Constitution Party (United States)
• Prohibition Party
• Reform Party of the United States of America
• Vermont Progressive Party
• Women's Equality Party
• World Socialist Party of the United States

The fact that only two parties get most of the votes says a lot about the polarism and lack of diverse ideas in American politics.

Very rarely do parties other than Republican or Democrat obtain more than 5% of the vote in any election.

Ross Perot was an anomaly in 1992---in that he obtained 18.9% of the popular vote. He received no electoral votes, though.

America does not have a two-party system.

Americans have two-party minds.

That's the crux of it....

The last time a third-party candidate got substantial electoral votes was 1968, when George Wallace won 46 electoral votes, and obtained 13.56% of the popular vote.

In 2016, two people got 1 electoral vote each.

The reason they lose: gerrymandering and voter suppression.

The reason why Hillary lost:

She was perceived as being MORE corrupt than Donald Trump at the time of the election. She was seen as being at least somewhat elitist. Trump was seen as a person who spoke clearly and directly. He also vowed to take care of the "immigration problem." This rang a bell with lots of Americans, unfortunately.

Basically, the American electorate sort of created a monster.

The reason why Hillary lost:

The Electoral College was established to assure the election of wealthy white males to the Presidency. Gerrymandering and voter suppression also helped.

Only a Quarter of the Country Identifies as Republican; Independents are actually
the Largest Voting Demographic; According to Gallup all things considered the
Democrats Hold about a 47 to 42 Percent Advantage over Republicans in Sheer Numbers.

A Biggest Issue is the Demographic of Age and Who Gets out to actually vote.
The Most Liberal Demographic in the United States by Age are Those under 30 and
The Most Conservative Demographic in the United States by Age are those over age 65.

"A recent PRRI poll found that 74 percent of those 65 and older were certain to vote in November,
compared with 28 percent of those under 30. That obviously disadvantages Democrats."

It's also Worth Noting that is the Majority Age Demographic still Attending Church services where there
is often no Church or State Separation and Clear Direction is provided 'by the Hand of God' at the Pulpit
to Vote Republican (in other words not for the 'baby killers').

In other News; Change is coming; the "Gray Hair Church Demographic" won't Live forever;
The incoming Generations won't be taking their Voting Orders from the Pulpit.

From the Point of View of Younger Folks coming to Age of Voting now Seeing the
Circus of Lies Politics (all that is Faux (R) News) has become; What is there about Lies to be Patriotic about?

i Think the answer is clear; not much unless the Truth Means Nothing.

Some People Bond over Myths Quick; back to those who are still Buying the Church Kool Aid they are fading away...

The Freedom We Enjoy in the United States is not Guaranteed by more than the next vote.

Apathy; a lack of Basic Empathy; and an inability to discern Truth will destroy any Country.

Younger Folks are not going to be swayed as much by Bold Faced Lies and Myths smoothed over by 'Pulpit Pooh'...

On the Other Hand, if they remain Apathetic without much Empathy; Without Much Passion for Freedoms that can be
lost they will inherit the Democracy they lost. It's not something that is going to fixed by 'Twitter Breaths'.


Freedom AND the Peace We now Enjoy may die silently...

All the Democrats really have is Joe Biden to Motivate the Youth to Vote...

They'll get excited about Sanders and Warren and then Biden will put them to sleep....

Charisma Wins colored 'Adolf' for the Church Generation or 'Obama' for the Other Folks.

Obama can't run again with His Mix of Charisma/Common Sense that Neither Sanders or Warren master.


I'm taking the Advice of "the Police"; "when the World is Running Down You Make the Best of what is Still Around";

Or Like the 'Matrix Movie' have a big Rave before Freedom/Peace is Lost again.

Anyway; this Peace/Freedom will last as long as it can/will; it's been an interesting ride; i'm Still enjoying the Hell out of
it and making it Heaven as Long as i can and will; if You can't change things that seems to be the smartest thing to do....

In everyday life most folks are probably resigned to this reality; most Lost somewhere in Purgatory.... (for real now)

Other than that Vote; it's really all We can do to effect the outcome.
