I just had a thought on the thread title.

As a general answer - no, definitely not.

Conservative men tend to be poorer, less educated, more emotionally driven, more pragmatic, more nationalistic, less cultured.

Liberal women are often (but not always) privileged, capitalist, moderately or highly educated, cold blooded with no attachments to people, but rather things that benefit them rather than being sentimental.

That's my life experience of each group.

Liberals seek out other liberals, typically. Conservatives get what is given to them or if they want something a bit nicer, they have to work extremely hard to get that.

They do exist. I am just talking about numbers here within any given general population. Portions of a pie chart & the like.

It seems fair to assume conservatives are found in all demographic groups but that doesn't mean they'll be equally distributed across all groups evenly.

Conservatives are somewhat less likely to have post-secondary, this means they'll be under-represented in some sectors of the economy and over-represented in others.

Even if society was 50/50 not every field is going to reflect that. Most factories I've worked in haven't had a 50/50 ratio of men to women, for example.

...uh, 11 pages about this...? What kind of a weird thing is this? You might have this fetish... but I doubt many others do, not unless the conservativism is reasonably moderate, at least, or they're somehow as self-loathing as the potency of the apparent fetish in many people here...

We get both types migrating here to the "antipodes" and I have worked socilaised with both types.

I've mentioned it before but liberal Brits who might have spent their 20s squatting in flats in London and being part of the alternative set end up becoming inner city bourgeoises in Melbourne and Sydney. Sipping caffe lattes and pretending to be better than everyone else.

I personally find that even Conservatives in the UK are almost universally in favour of limited immigration, unless they are of the lower IQ variety, in which case they want to "send them all back" in some cases.

You cannot create a 'Little England' in the UK, because already, 15% of the population are 'people of colour'. Unless you are in a rural place outside of London - immigrants are everywhere & almost everyone accepts them for the most part (though they are still oppressed in terms of capitalist earning potential). It is 'normal' in the UK to talk to & socialise with persons of colour. I was exposed to immigration from a very young age. My primary school friends were mostly persons of colour.

Most people of colour I know are hilariously more racist than white people. I have been (jokingly) called a "f*****g cracker" and all kinds of things. A Muslim guy at university told me he genuinely thought Hitler was a good leader for white folk & I had to debate him and tell him he was wrong on that one.

Reality is a lot different from what is portrayed in the mainstream media, for the most part, in my experience.

It's mostly left-wing folk who are entitled and think they are 'better' in my experience. Especially hipsters.

They'll be like "yeah, but man, I have read like 3 books which say you are wrong about your lived experience, why are you so ignorant, maaaaaan." :lol:

Probably true. It also is not static. In Australia there were periods where anti-immigration sentiment goes up. I think there's a lot of chameleons who go through phases. I have family who are ultra-conservative whom I have nothing to do with.

My sister was a university socialist but now is a typical soccor mom :lol:
