For the last time, I'm straight. I've left that momentarily, but otherwise I've always been straight. I shattered Sopho's little theoretical construct about sexual permanence with my experiments, and now she's pissy about it. Well, too bad! She admitted she holds onto that stupid little dream, because it helps her cause -- to normalize gayness and legalize gay marriage. A person can shift in and out of homo/bi/straight/asexual, and I've been all four. (I do remember a couple of tiny moments when I liked guys but didn't like girls -- it weirded me out, so I guess I repressed it.) These are not concrete identities. They're simply sexual modes.

I'm straight, but I can temporarily reprogram myself along the lines of a self-hypnosis -- that is to say, simply "suggesting" to myself an orientation, and thereby grapsing and becoming it.

OK, so forget the words then. You were never exclusively attracted to men, therefore you do not know what it is like to be exclusively attracted to men. That easy enough for you to understand?

he just dances and waves his hand and wonders in amazement and disbelief that he hasnt lost anyone (but himself) in all the tangents and misdirections

what's your profession btw, ragtime?

Modern dictionary definitions use concepts gained and studied in a more objective and scientific nature, no the ancient, cultural and ignorance from a period of time when the earth was thought to be flat, the bible.

lol Yeah, Ragtime doesn't understand that though, all he has is his Bible.
When people discuss something, they don't use Bible definitions, because we're not all Christians (thank god). We use dictionary definitions, because we all speak English. Therefore we're discussing two entirely different things if Ragtime doesn't know what 'gay' is.

No, I was unattracted to women a couple of times while attracted to men, but that was just because I had some anger toward womankind at the time.

lol What could every woman in the world have done to make you angry at them all? Or are you just a sexist c**t? Probably.
And also, being gay isn't about getting pissed off at the 'opposite' sex and deciding you're no longer attracted to them. I guess that's why you assume I hate men?

It is funny that most of the bisexual people I know seem to think that EVERYONE is bisexual and that we are all lying to ourselves or something lol. Well I call pansexuals bi even though they are different somewhat. I am straight myself and have only been attracted to women in my life. Others believe in a % of gay and straight in a person, that probably is more accurate to me. I refuse to think that people do not have preferences. I really love the smell, feel, looks, and other things about women too much for me to not have a preference for them. That is why I disagree with the bisexual/pansexual people I know.

You can have a preference but still not be 100% one way. I'd say anyone who is gay or straight is most likely 99% one way or whatever. But I don't know. And pansexuals are completely different to bisexuals.

It was the world's leading scientists which thought that the Earth was flat. Ya, I guess I should trust them.

That was years ago. And it wasn't just scientists. Jesus, science has moved on a bit since then Ragtime. You're the one sitting here saying there's this god in the sky who's going to send us all to hell if we have sex with someone of the same sex.

I know they are different, well pansexuals and bisexuals that is. Pansexuals are basically bi though, just they are capable of falling in love with someone regardless of sex. If they can do that, then they are basically bi. 99% is a pretty high percentage and very decisive, but I would say it is a different % for everyone and not just a static %. Most people prefer one sex or another preference wise, even if they are bi or pansexual.
