So now the conservatives feel a mandate to "own teh libruls".

Big, fat, hairy deal.

Be careful what you wish for; wishes have ways of backfiring on the people making the wishes.  The next four years will affect YOU just as much as they affect the rest of us.

Don't underestimate them. They understand what it means to cut off a weak limb so that the body can remain strong.

i feel guilty about the spoiled upper middle class brat. been thinking about it multiple times a day lately.

when my parents were alive i found them annoying. now that they're dead, i realize i was unreasonable and unjustified. they earned more $$$ than me, even though i am more educated than them. when they were 41, they had 10 and 6 year old kids. i'm 41 and no kids. when they were 41, they had only high school diplomas, no associates or bachelors. i'm 41 with an associates in accounting and bachelors in cognitive science.
