And because the Bible Belters wanted to "send her back to the kitchen".
Still, she did win the popular vote ... but it's now merely academic.

A lot of those votes she got above what Trump got were in California I believe . She stockpiled votes in a safe State . I think distribution of votes is a crucial factor .

She ignored the flyover states, which in some cases are crucial to gaining enough electoral college votes.

That sounds as though her campaign strategy wasn't good . Shouldn't her campaign staff have advised her better ?

I support universal healthcare and many other things the left support but unfortunately they keep running gun grabbers so I can not vote for the left.

Democrats lost the 2016 Presidential election but Clinton won the popular vote by 3 million votes.
Why couldn't she just take some votes out and stick them into the marginal states and win the election?

There's a rule that we can't discuss banned members.

You're not a banned member. You're a member with a banned account. If you were banned then all of your accounts would be banned.

Why is gun ownership so important to you?

It is the poor and uneducated people that often vote right wing and fall for the line that voting Trump will magically make them as a rich as Trump. Trump's voters are mainly idiots that can easily be manipulated and influenced by right wing propaganda. The smart progressive, environmentalists are the thinks of this world and often possess higher levels of education and they do not fall for the right wing media's cheap slogans and false promises that voting for a billionaire will make you become rich.

I have a 143 IQ, I am educated. I don't vote conservative to get rich, I will never be rich. I do prefer to keep what I have, what 100 years of family work ethic has afforded me. No conservative I know thinks they will 'get rich' with a vote. They do wish to work hard and keep more of what they work for, they do wish to be left alone and left out of these harebrained ideas about taxing the s**t out of people to raise up everyone to the same level. If you aren't a child, elderly person or a disabled person get up off your ass and raise your self up. That's why I vote conservative.

Conservative messages seem uplifting, inspirational, positive.

Liberal messages seem defeatist and negative.

"the little person can't get ahead"
"the 1% is holding you back"
"the economy is rigged against you"

That's a good way of putting it.

The growing rift between the rich and the rest of us is supportive of the left's messages.

Do you mean 'envy?' Yes, envy is growing, but unfortunately motivation isn't.
