Yes, which you are> Read the books. :)

You are sir. I have given you enough arguments, and you have given me thought that your books contain nothing but the ramblings of old men who have not a brain cell in their heads. If their readers are as dense to reason as you are, then odds are they contain nothing profound whatsoever. Simple arguments from Dawkins have refuted all your paltry rhetoric about subjects which do not lie in the arcane domain of theology, but lie firmly in the realm of science. If that small amount of reason does not give you pause to the validity of your teachings, then reason has escaped you.

Edit : I'M NOT A RANDIAN! MY USE OF THE WORD REASON DOES NOT EQUATE ME WITH OBJECTIVISM. PLEASE DON'T MISTAKE ME FOR AN OBJECTIVIST.

At this point, I'm sort of ambling through agnosticism. It suits me fine, as religious extremism upsets me a lot (well, extremism of any sort upsets me, to be honest). I have watched an interesting lecture for TED.com by Dawkins, where he showed how by concentrating on little details, you miss the blindingly obvious - there was video footage of some basketball players, and he asked the audience to count how many passes the team in white made. Then he played it again, and a guy in a bear suit walks on, waves, and walks off again. I certainly didn't see it the first time, and neither did they). I've no inclination to read his book, though.

Whatever waits for me on the other side is going to be a complete surprise :)

Don't give excuses, you make a great example of Dawkins.

If you want to actually be educated and not brainwashed you have to know both sides.

The God Delusion sucked, just the same garbage you get online from militant atheist sites. Heck, at the end there are even places to contact to make sure you're fully converted. That isn't just persuasion: that's atheistic propaganda.

Do you want to know both sides of the coin, or will you persist in your belief that mine is simply wrong and learning it, instead of the strawmen your side proposes of our views, is not worth the time because you know my side must be wrong?

You prove you are wrong through horrible logic. I have investigate Christianity for years, and found it lacking completely. You've never read The God Delusion, and have no idea what it is in it. You are simply a brainwashed Christian zombie. It isn't propaganda, because it allows for questioning and debate; Christianity allows neither. Again, you appeal to things other than logic, and simply think that because you utter something, that it is right without proof.

But, this is my last post, as I was hoping you would become reasoned. In every discussions I've had online, either myself or the other person have come to a mutual conclusion about a topic. However, these people usually were quite logical, and I didn't have to make sense of their fallacies. I was hoping beyond hope that you would see the error in your ways, but I was completely wrong. I was a fool for that.

Please, point out where I made the errors, instead of simply declaring that I am wrong.

Ha, arguing on the basis of non agreement.

That was your last post unless you're a liar.

Read the books: try Reasonable Faith for starters.

I've been here before, though I usually leave for a while after getting tired of arguing with morons. Then I come back when I've calmed down. It's a cycle of a process. I leave, or try to anyway, before I get angry. Being aspie I usually don't have emotions, but when they come they are intense.

What is there to think about it? If people wish to cast spells and everything, let them. As long as they don't hurt animals.

I don't accept it for myself, but I'm not going to stop you.

Bible does teach against both of those items, but, assuming the Bible is God's revealed word and that God exists (for the sake of argument, okay?, even assuming that), would I ever be able to convince you? I'm not for laws forbidding you from this or that, heck it means the end is sooner, so I think it is better to leave you alone and let you have your way for this life.

Assume He is. For the sake of argument, okay? If He existed and the Bible was His revealed word, would I be able to convince you not to be a gay witch?

I think the answer is "no". Is it?

if I actually saw God and he said-Peter, being a bi witch is bad your a bad person

I'd say kiss my ass to him

if he (or she)
said pete-your doing a bang up job, maybe one day you can read this-it might make a bit more sense now that you saw me

I will never admit that I am bad for how I was born (being bi) then i would be selling out my best friend, my dearist and many others

See, you'll never change. It is a waste of time and effort, so I'll let you be as you are.

Just because I don't approve of your lifestyle doesn't mean anything. You can be who you want to. I feel sorry for you, but I'm not out to change you.

you can take that pity and shove it up your ass

I am proud of what I am
and I am glad others like me are too
your a bigot!

I thought Jesus liked to love everyone, not pick and choose who to accept and who to shun
I know a lot more then you think, I even considered becoming a minister when I was younger
I don't need your pity
