I'm saying it's used as an EXCUSE for teachers who don't want to make the effort to maintain discipline.

Easier to slap a label on a kid who can't sit still because he's not allowed to go out and really PLAY for an hour during the day rather than wait until a skilled PROFESSIONAL has independently determined the kid to have ADHD. If I am correct, kids can be labeled as ADHD and required to go on medication for the "condition" based on very limited evidence by people not really qualified to make that determination because it's easier for the education system in the long run (and perhaps an incentive by Big Phama to put people on expensive meds).

You're talking nonsense. ADHD is a real thing and it has little to nothing to do with lack of discipline.

Then read what I wrote carefully. I'm not saying ADHD is not real, but it is used to label any kid teachers do not want to bother disciplining. A kid can have a label of ADHD (and meds) forced upon him without proper professional diagnosis in the USA. That's the issue.

Yes.

Boy and men are terribly oppressed, and it's all due to the Feminist Conspiracy.

You mean the one where they're pumping estrogen into the water supply? Or the way internet porn is designed to damage men's productivity, allowing women to take over the workplace? Or how "reproductive rights" is code for "use abortion to limit the male population?"

You gotta be a little more specific when talking about your feminist conspiracies.

s**t, I've said too much. Now they are monitoring all my online activities.

I was thinking of all of the "anti-male laws" and systematic emasculation of men.

But I can't be more specific than that because the Patriarchal Conspiracy is monitoring MY computer.

Be careful, you don't wanna get sent to one of their (house)work camps. I heard they've got a kitchen the size of a small city hidden away in the Canadian wilderness where they send malcontents like you.

A salute to Men's Rights and the Red Pill from an anti-sexist and feminist. I like reading some of those Men's Lib blogs as well as Women's Lib (and gender liberation, period.)

Two major issues that I feel the manosphere addresses - that many feminists should address more because this is our fight, too - are male-dating / female / feminine identified hypergamy, and the divorce / child support matrix. There is no doubt discrimination against men in the worlds of custody, divorce and child support, although the welfare queen trope is tired - and I've written plenty on my blog about the dangers of female hypergamy / the feminine imperative running unchecked.

But hypergamy and the child support thing go hand in hand with gender systems that the Women's Lib movement is also fighting. So that's why I like the idea of gender studies that encompasses all genders and is about ... everybody.

Why don't you define 'hypergamy' so that those who aren't familiar with MRAs can laugh at you, too.

There was no way to tell you had imbedded a link, as the hyperlinked text is the same color as the regular text.

For LKL, Hypergamy is the practice of marrying into or above one's own caste or status. 8)

I'm aware of that. What I wanted to point out was the MRA use of the term, which usually implies or explicitely states that the term is only relevant to women, and that any woman will abandon or cheat on an established partner the instant one of higher social status appears.

OK, I get ya

Although it is interesting... This idea that women will willingly leave a partner over someone who is 'higher status' seems to to have it's mirror insecurity in the one for women, in that men will willingly leave their partner for someone who is prettier and younger.

I wonder if these MRA men would consider leaving an established partner for a 'younger model' as a "man thing" or is it their general creed to stay and be faithful, as it's only a woman that has the tendency to stray?
