For some reason, WP is more tolerant of diverse political views, just recently.

Yeah, not everything/k Trump did was bad.
Encouraging manufacturing to come back to America was a positive.
Hasn't the Biden administration recinded the tax incentives, however?


Of course everything Trump did was not bad. But if you were to weigh on the good things he has done (standing up to China, trying to make peace in the Middle East, the stimulus checks, securing masks and ventilators for our country, trying to fix our economy, etc) to the bad things he has done (encouraging racial tension and violence, treating women like s**t, turning the GOP and Evangelical Christian's into a cult that literally worships him, alienating our allies around the world while expressing his admiration for dictatorships, demonizing democrats and liberals because they 'don't like him', pardoning war criminals, locking Hispanic immigrants up in internment camps, banning Muslims from entering our country on the grounds of their religious beliefs, endorsing all those batshit QAnon conspiracies, destroying our trust in the system, lowering taxes for the super rich, destroying our progress in trying to reverse climate change AND convincing people that climate change is all a big hoax while the country is burning and freezing and flooding around us, downplaying the severity of the coronavirus and telling people to ingest things like disinfectant as a cure, convincing half the country of the big lie that the 2020 election was stolen from him, and do NOT even get me started on his little coup attempt on January 6th which the world saw on Live TV but the GQP wishes to erase from our history and memories just like the CCP has done with the Tiananmen Square Massacre that they insist never happened. :roll: )

I personally think the bad Trump has accomplished outweighs the good.

Because of Trump, cloured people were the biggest beneficiaries in terms of finding a job and wage increases.

There is at least one video clip where he specifically states that he is not blaming American Asians/Chinese for the Wuhan coronavirus.

That makes sense, but even after voting, people are still not satisfied, with sticking it. They feel they have to do all these other things, like violent rioting etc, instead of just accepting the vote to stick it.

the right wing fascist bullyboys like the patriot boys et al are mad at the rest of us for basically not being just like them [hateful of POC] and getting in their way when they try to do dirt to POC. and the BLM folk are mad that the racists are still allowed to do them dirt and that not enough white folk give a damn about it. each side feels it is their first amendment right to protest these things. it is a train wreck between the BLM types and the right wing types who don't want them to exist.



And that's precisely why some people are worried about the possibility of another civil war happening in the US with all this racial, political, and social class tension. A modern civil war would tear us apart like it did for Colombia or Syria.


I think 5 years ago nobody would have ever thought the idea if another American civil war would even be possible, nor did they think we might face an economic crisis rivaling the Great Depression.


Do you think a civil war would be good though in the sense that if the blue states and the red states were to separate into their own nations, they would be happier and there would be less drama?
