I struggle to see the appeal in Farage

I'd challenge anyone to change my opinion of him

"Refrom" candidates continue to drop like flies - they've just had to sack another 3 due to "unguarded comments". It's almost as if the party attracts abysmally stupid loud-mouthed racists or something....

I see the Tory tabloids are spreading this notion that Labour will wreck the country within 100 days of taking office. It looks so much more credible when they stick an arbitrary number on it like that.

Meanwhile the bread-heads are warning that we're heading for economic ruin whoever wins, and that politicians on all sides are pretending otherwise.

On Friday I was surprised to receive a flyer for a UKIP candidate through my door. Firstly because I didn't know UKIP was still a thing, i presumed they'd all gone to Reform. Secondly because the candidate isn't actually standing in my constituency. Clearly a highly competent organisation.

I wonder what they want to make the UK independent from this time? Reality maybe.

They seem to be mainly angry that people are trying to make the air cleaner and the countryside more habitable to wildlife.

Group hysteria and fearmongering - it's all they have left now. Nothing can justify what the Tories have done to the UK over the last 14 years.

They're clearly destructive people....words don't do what I feel about them justice

If the Tory party had stayed more centre as they used to be the likes of Farage and other right wing zealots would have less of a voice.

I blame the pm for pandering to the right of the party for all of this

And does Mr Farage expect people to vote for him based on him proclaiming to be some kind of clairvoyant who can foretell wars 10 years before they happen

I mean I'm not the most political person in the world but if I was then I'd probably be able to predict political outcomes such as war 10 years into the future as well

I swear down, if this man was made of chocolate he would eat himself

It's very telling that the Daily Mail, which got so upset about politicians and judges defying the "Will of the People" when they were trying to debate Brexit, feels very differently when the will of the people contradicts their own editorial line.

I wonder what the odds on that are at the bookies...

They still hold the record though

Liz Truss managed it in a day

Paddy Power's gambling website is offering 125 to 1 if you bet on a Tory victory, and 1/80 to 1 if you bet Labour. So you'd get 1.25%. Could be worth it for somebody with many thousands in spare cash. I once read that it was standard practice for the wealthy to bet on a Labour victory, as a hedge against the effects of socialism.

If I was going to have a punt I'd go for hung parliament with Labour the largest party. I don't trust the polls.
