I'm sure this isn't Fake News even if it is from CNN.

Mexico was second deadliest country in 2016

Yes, Mexico does have a lot of crime, but I don't think there is a wave of Mexican criminals charging towards the border. There are many elements in Mexico that contribute to the crime, that don't exist to nearly the same degree in the U.S. While a wall might seem like a no brainer to many people, I don't think people really understand how big the scope of the project would have to be to be effective.

The U.S./Mexican border is 1,989 miles long. That's 74% the length of the U.S.

The Mexican drug trade is a multibillion dollar industry and their main sales floor is the U.S. How many resources do you think it will take to keep those guys away from their source of revenue? Particularly considering that many drug cartel members are ex or current military, ex or current federal police, and ex or current local police and many Mexican politicians are on their payroll.

The wall would also negatively effect the migration and movement of wildlife that lives on the border or migrates through it.

Comey should have resigned months ago.

As far as waves of criminals from Mexico (or through Mexico from Guatemala etc). You have to have lived in Southern California's San Fernando valley for a long time like several relatives of mine to have witnessed its transformation into a gang infested slum.

Mexico is bad country, because it has a bad government. It therefore produces lots of bad people who come over the border in droves. And it's just getting worse.

I love all this conspiracy theory hysteria over Comey finally getting fired. That Trump supposedly fired Comey because of the ongoing-nowhere Trump collusion with Putin investigation. I especially liked watching Anderson Cooper going at it with Kellyanne Conway again. That's always so entertaining.

Someone just poured gasoline on the dumpster fire. Someone clearly has forgotten that it's always the cover-up that gets you in the end.

Unless the cover up is actually just a conspiracy theory. I mean I figure that's how Bush got away with the 9/11 cover up. Because there never was one. But even after 15 years of nothing haven been proven, people will insist it was an inside job that was covered up. After 50 years of investigations people still insist that the JFK assassination was a cover up. The FBI and whoever else will likely end up saying their investigation into Trump being in collusion with Russia was inconclusive, leaving it hanging in the air.

Trump does have a sense of humor. Since a lot of Nixon comparisons are being made he met with Kissinger today and he met with the Russian Ambassador at the center of the allegations.

Once again, I feel a little amused and a lot troubled. How dumb is Trump? He has his lawyers release a statement that he has no financial ties to Russia, with a few exceptions. Setting aside the question of when lawyers are lying, the law firm which employs them won a prestigious award last year. They brag about being named Russia Law Firm of the year on their website. Uh, I guess they would know then???

What crime is it having any associations with Russia? We're not at war with them and would benefit greatly for a normalization of relations. The whole scandal is based on a fake premise, that the Russians somehow rigged our elections which is so laughable it's hard to take seriously. This is just the Democrats refusing to acknowledge their loss, they will never peacefully give up power or concede an election.

Uhh ... everyone admits now that the Russians took steps to influence the American election. They've done the same thing in other countries.

Little Hitler fires another one.

Kim Jong-Un fires ANOTHER ballistic missile that lands 60 miles from RUSSIA - after months of threatening Trump with nuclear war and days after a new president took office in South Korea
