I started off just typing that out. But I thought maybe it might be taken literally, as in I was saying who I did or did not vote for in reality. The image is from a Dos Equis beer advertisement

Also Fnord posted a meme and you posted a gif before that.

American actor Jonathan Goldsmith.  He began his career on the New York stage, then started a career in film and television.  He appeared in several TV shows from the 1960s to the 1990s.  He is best known for appearing in television commercials for Dos Equis beer.

I don't say it's an offence or something forbidden. Just, political memes have high flammability-to-information ratio so it's wise to be careful around them.

I agree with you and usually prefer not to use them in threads like this. When I said you and Fnord did it too, I was pretending to be defensive. I should have inserted a :P emoji at the end.

Or :jester: It probably have been safer, given how much misinterpretations-as-hostile I'm seeing on political topics.

Then let us get this thread back on track, remembering that the election was never wholly about a difference of political opinion.  No, this was mostly about a fundamental difference between morality, integrity and decency, as embodied in Joseph Biden, against a person who exemplifies none of those things -- e.g., Donald J. Trump.

I have access to every news agency on TV (BBC, CNN, Al-Jazeera etc) and all of them agree
i) trump is abusing his powers for personal gain.
ii) the claims of voter fraud is unsubstantiated
iii) Barr acted out of line in calling for an enquiry
iv) protests about voter fraud is designed to disrupt the election process
v) the threats (including armed threats) are criminal acts
vi) Trump's call for financial donations is unethical

I think the biggest testimony to how out of line Trump's conduct is when Fox news pulled the plug on his press secretary calling the voting "illegal". Even Rupert Murdoch is distancing himself from the monster he created.

IF that were true it’d involve almost no one from this forum, seeing as most people here would rather complain about their symptoms interfering with their lives than attempt to do anything to treat them.

Pompeo is also on board with a Fascist takeover:

When even Fox News isn't trying to back a conservative cause, you know it's gotten bad.
Don't worry, Trump still has Breitbart and InfoWars on his side. His arguments are greatly helped by the support of these paragons of journalism.

You left out QAnon.

Come to think of it ... any organization that backs Mr. Trump since his defeat was announced is (to me) automatically suspect in the lack of knowledge, integrity, understanding, and a meaningful perception of reality.

Given the required event (his defeat) on which this statement relies has not been officially announced, this does come across as projection...

While the media, and others, have projected the results to indicate he will be defeated, this is yet to be confirmed and announced officially, and has the potential (however unlikely this may be) to have been called incorrectly. Anyone claiming that the media are responsible for this (or claiming the media's "call" is official\menaingful), provide a greater demonstration of "lack of knowledge, integrity, understanding, and a meaningful perception of reality" than those waiting for the constitutional process to be completed.

So there's 57 states now. "East Dakota, Anti-Portland, and the five others whose names, populations, and geographic locations we’ll figure out in the next week or so."

Wow, that's unbelievable. I wonder what unbelievable thing he'll do next?

Things have gotten so strange and stupid lately that I did not immediately register that this was satire.
