You can't trust the polls they mean nothing unless people actually vote

The tories keep implying that Labour are going to win just so that people won't bother voting

It's just game playing yet again

I mean if people really want a hard right wing government then they can just take a look at what's on the cards in France

Yes there's grounds for doubting the polls. They predicted Labour and the Tories would get more or less the same number of seats each in 2015, but the Tories won it by 330 to 232. But this time they're predicting something like Labour 470, Tories 61, which is more of a landslide than Blair's first victory, so it looks fairly safe to say we won't be waking up to another 5 years of Tory hell. Even for a draw the polls would have to be out by over 200 seats. I don't think that's ever happened before. I think Starmer will romp home.

Wasn't sure whether I'd vote or not but had a pre election shave so I look like my photo ID and now ready to vote Labour tomorrow.

The Sun is backing Labour. Who'd a thunk? Not that it matters, really. I don't think the papers have much influence any more. But its interesting.

I don't think I've ever voted that hard in my life. Really slammed that ballot paper into the box. I took a run up.

Awkward moment at the polling centre when I bumped into my landlord who is also the Conservative MP for a neighbouring constituency and predicted to lose his seat today. He's actually the only Conservative MP who I would like to keep his seat because it keeps him busy and means he isn't causing trouble around here. I still didn't wish him luck though.
