OK, atheism and satanism may not be the same thing exactly, but to dismiss the existence of evil would be a mistake. There's Good, Evil, and then there's Neither Good Nor Evil. Avoiding both Good and Evil is not in itself a virtue. Trying to remain spiritually neutral is a fool's errand because for any human being it's impossible. It's like refusing to think, act, see or hear. If the writings of Dante are any indication, these neutral agents spend eternity not in heaven or hell but limbo.

Most religions thrive on the concept that they have the right connection to God and any other connection is inferior. They also claim, to a large extent, that mankind is essentially evil and the only way a person can be good is by being scared silly that God will blast them to hell if they don't behave. That's why non-believers are automatically seen as evil.

Wouldn't Satanism defeat the very principle of Atheism?

I mean, if they worship the devil...most Atheist's don't even believe there is a devil.

^very good point, this is the main reason why i don't support any religion, because each religion has it's form of Anti-God for that specific religion, I don't believe in Christianity like my grandparents do as you also have to believe in the existence of the devil aswell as god, Religion says to work against fear but it also wants to promote the image and idea of Satan, lol, Christianity basically IS satanism, DO NOT BE CONfUSEd and think Im saying all Christians are Satanists, that is definatly NOT what i mean

also i think the most unfair part about religion is that it forces its views on people, its gotten to the point where even your stubborn grandparents are trying to convince you that religion is 100% truth, and it should be illegal to force children into the parents religion of choice

I stand by the saying "People can be a walking contradiction" in relation to this

I wouldn't say that. Non-believers are only evil if they do evil. No one is inherentlly good or evil. Belief can turn evil into good only if it is 100% sincere. God judges us not by our being but on our words, deeds, and thoughts.

I had the impression that it was only through Jesus that Christians believed original sin could be forgiven. Is that true?

The Son forgives sins through the authority of the Father. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are united in the Holy Trinity, yet retain full distinctiveness therein.

^how would we know what really is evil then, if god has the only right to judge? if god existed why are we trying to put ourselves in "gods" shoes and acting out of what we believe in as right? (Judges/Law gorernment ect;)

And I had heard that atheists who do not recognize either Jesus or God are inherently unforgiven and therefore evil. Is that true?

The only unpardonable sin is to turn away from God, to rebel against Him. That's whay Lucifer became Satan after being thrown out of Heaven. This is official Christian doctrine; it is what we believe.

Matthew 12:31-32 KJV
[31] Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
[32] And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

Matthew 12:31-32 ESV
[31] Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven people, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.
[32] And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.

Matthew 12:31-32 HNT

Jesus is so important because His death saved mankind from eternal spiritual death, ie. hell. Jesus is the Redeemer of mankind and without Him our faith means nothing. Jesus is the New Adam, the New Covenant.

Not "New" Adam, Last Adam.

BTW, for Messianic Jews, the New Testament is called the Brit HaDashah, the New Covenant.

New Adam, Last Adam, whatever makes you happy. Are you telling me what I believe now?
