NPR aired an interview with one of the top newspeople at RT. According to him, RT wants to supply viewers with an alternative for information about underreported or misreported stories. Or, he might have said alternative information. Is that like alternative facts?

I didn't believe his apparent astonishment that all newspeople don't have to sign a non-disparagement agreement regarding their employers. That's definitely not normal, and he knows it. Non-disclosure agreements regarding trade secrets are normal, but I've never heard of one that tries to keep the employee from criticizing their employer after they part ways.

While Trump derangement syndrome is real ingoring that the trump phemonenon has completly upended so many things in such a short amount of time is pretty bad also.

I've been paying $5 a month for One America News Network (OAN), which is available online and on Roku. It's AMAZING. It's America-centered, obviously, but it also carries a wide array of international news. I dimly recall the regular three networks having news like this when I was a kid- like, without all the commentary and political domination. It's a breath of fresh air.

It also has little educational history bits and explanations of how legal things work in the commercials. Yesterday it explained how the parliamentary seats work in the UK, which was enlightening.
