I'm a classical liberal... which gets counted as a "conservative" or "libertarian" in US parlance. I'd like to be called a Republican if it weren't for the Christian Right and social conservatives.

If this isn't stirring racial unrest at a critical time nothing is.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-23382880

"That all contributes to a sense that if a white male teen was involved in the same kind of scenario, both the outcome and the aftermath might have been different," Mr Obama said.

"When Trayvon Martin was first shot, I said that this could have been my son. Another way of saying that is Trayvon Martin could have been me, 35 years ago."

He shared his experiences of being racially profiled in the past, such as being followed while out shopping.

"There are very few African-American men who haven't had the experience of walking across the street and hearing the locks click on the doors of cars.

"There are very few African-Americans who haven't had the experience of getting on an elevator and a woman clutching her purse nervously and holding her breath until she has a chance to get off," he said.

PS: Calling someone a troll is a personal attack. Well, it would be if you were a conservative and I a liberal.

Oh please!  It would be an insult to both our intelligence to cite examples but I could start along the lines of class warfare. Google “liberal class warfare”. There are too many hits to post all the links here.
It’s hardly a secret that the left openly despises prosperity unless it's one of their own.

Oh? And Conservatives never despise a rich man? Even a rich Jew, like George Soros?

If we do despise a rich person it's because they themselves are despicable, not because of their money.
I can't help but detect an accusation of conservatives being antisemitic.

It isn't a personal attack if it is true. In fact, that you are trolling is the nicest interpretation I can draw.

"Stirring racial tension" could be shouting "black power!" or dressing up as the KKK and burning crosses or beating up members of a different race. Saying "black people are profiled" doesn't stir up tension.

POTUS was merely speaking a truth as a black man in this country which still can't get over its routine racism.

If I’m a troll it’s only because you can’t come up with anything worthwhile in a debate with me. This little cartoon comes to mind. Just substitute the word douchebag at the end with troll and I think I’ve summed up your frustrations.

Yes, well he should have been speaking as The President of the United States trying to keep a nation at least as unified as possible and not as an angry black man fanning the flames of dissent. There is supposed to be some dignity and decorum to the office.

You don't see how singling out a group and branding them the enemy of the people, and then whipping up resentment against them could be seen as divisive or hateful?

No, liberals don't hate the rich. They only champion the interests of those without.
And as far as flaming the fans of racism are concerned - how is acknowledging the reality of racism fanning it to life? Unlike conservatives, liberals don't sweep racism under the rug and pretend it doesn't exist. If anything, it's conservatives who fan the flames of racism by publicly expressing a lack of empathy for blacks and other minority citizens.

As I recall, it was Wall Street that had tanked the economy and left millions of Americans in the lurch. If the shoe fits...

Uh, yes, I do. Who, pray tell, then are the actual guilty parties - that 47% of so called takers?
And that's another point - you speak of the liberal cry, "we are the 99%," but what of the conservative attack on the poor with their demeaning of 47% of the country?
