Elon's hostile buy-out of the American government continues.

He thinks he's a real life Tony Stark.

To me, he's more of a Lex Luthor with Superman being an allegory for Judaism and other marginalized groups.

I'm sure he will be persona non grata in most countries if he carries on. No one here will give him the time of day and he didn't even realise there's a city and province in Mozambique also called Gaza

Not sure why people are against what musk is doing

It appears there was fraud and money laundering on a massive scale in the US

The poor or people like you were being robbed to make some rich sociopathic horrible people rich through money laundering.

It appears too the whole culture wars thing of the last 10 years was artificial, it wasn’t real, rather pushed through with this money and the media.

All the demos the articles the huge talking points was all paid for fuelling confusion, social divide and making people angry

You were simply victims of a psyop that made a minority rich, you were lied to get over it.

Musk is shedding light on the whole thing it’s come to an end so naturally people will be angry and they’ll be a lot of denial of reality.

There is no evidence suggesting any of this is true, other than "Musk says it is". Given Musk's long track record of saying things that turn out to be wildly wrong, and frankly the ludicrousness of what he is proposing, it is unsurprising that people don't just blindly take him at his word. Indeed, several things he has attempted to quickly cut have turned out to be essential for the functioning of government - for example, he tried to fire people working at the National Nuclear Security Administration. He's dramatically cut science funding, he thinks most Social Security claimants are fraudulent, he wants to cut military spending by ~45%, he's cutting programmes that has slashed the spread of AIDS - these aren't things that any intelligent person interested in the functioning of the US government would support.

The culture wars are real alright. What money can do is make existing resentments worse by exploiting them.

Musk is dealing with fraud by going at it with a sledgehammer and using algorithms. The algorithms detect apparent fraud by looking at figures. This method does put a stop to paying plenty of underserved people. It also cuts off plenty of deserving people because algorithms can’t detect context.

Generally there is hatred of Musk because he is an immigrant and because of his association with Trump, particularly the perception that this association was bought.

For our community in particular many are dependent on Medicaid and other programs that long have been in the crosshairs of Republicans. There is realistic fears that Musk will make significant cuts in programs members are dependent on. It is natural to hate the people responsible for directly causing one harm.

His brief I have Aspergers statement brings up all sorts of resentments about less obvious autistics not having real Autism, faking Autism, wrongly using the Autism card, and condescendingly sh*****g on more obvious Autistics.

It was real to you, me and others because we were on the receiving end.

Most of the talking points in the culture wars are created by politicians, and media. They also used paid foot soldiers for more kinetic action.

The thing is all this was paid for.

US politicians have wealth unexplained by their salary

Media organisations like the bbc received USAID

Journalists received USAID

Lead demonstrators here and abroad were paid

Very little was organic what organic element there was would never have made much of an impact on its own

The US gov originally used this to control other countries to get them to do what they wanted.

At some point in the last decade as suggested in the tucker Carlson interview with an expert on the subject a decision was taken to use those powers in the US on US citizens.

Much of what you heard in the last 10 years was people being paid to push those views on your computer screen, Tv or the streets some of which was probably even AI generated.

It's almost like they all engage in insider trading, which they will continue to engage in because no one wants to investigate that side of things.

Musk won't ever do anything about that problem because he's constantly engaging in stock price manipulation and pump and dump schemes.

As for Tucker Carlson, he's a disinformation peddler who regularly pushes Russian false narratives. If that's your source, you've got nothing.

Yes Nancy Pelosi is a prime example I think she’s worth approx over 150 million.

Where did she get that from I wonder, same with the Clinton’s their wealth is not explained by their salary for public service.

The US is a very corrupt country not the only one of course but the scale of the corruption is coming out.

As for the “culture wars” element the proof will be in the future silence.

If there is a drop in noise and intensity which I believe there will its because nobody is funding it anymore.

Some of her money came from her husband who was already rich. It's how she was able to have all the fundraisers that led to her being the most corrupt Democrat available to lead the party. But, a massive chunk of it came from insider trading. For a while there was an ETF that was based entirely around buying what she was buying and it was doing quite well. I don't think that it's currently doing as well.
