I dunno, and I suppose I do not want to know....

I'm very anti-suicide, except in euthanasia. If there is nothing beyond, then why take your life? Is oblivion better than this? I assume so.

It is Arab and means "see you tomorrow if God wants". 8)

Yes, oblivion is better.

Then you, my dear Sweden sour friend, have the severest case of myopia that I've ever seen.

(Imagine that in a Southern drawl) 8)

OK, you mean that if I think that suicide and oblivion would be the best thing, why in hell would I care for the right to bear arms? Because, even if I have an old and rusty car, no one else has the right to destroy it. And the same thing goes for my life. I'm the one to determine if it shall go on or not, and in which way to end it, if I would like to make an end of it myself.

The famous German philosopher Schopenhauer dedicated his whole life to convince mankind that life was a meaningless struggle for illusions that were never to be fulfilled. Yet he had dozens of guns; chopsticks, sabres, rifles and pistols, because even if life was meaningless, no one had the right to take his and certainly not before his mission was as complete as it could be during his natural time of life.

And do you know what?

HE DIDN'T HAVE A C*O*W*A*R*D LICENSE FOR HIS FIRE ARMS!

At least I am determined to make something of my life, that will help other people. Whereas you, in your statements thus far, show yourself to hold human life extremely cheaply.

I would've suggested you follow through with your nihlistic ideals, except it would've been on my conscience.

In fact, I would think you were not just a danger to yourself, but also others. Is your car roadworthy? And more importantly, do you give a damn?

And if you wonder why I use the word "coward" about all forms of gun licenses and negative gun laws, it's because:

1. Anyone who makes a law that makes it compulsory to have a gun license is a coward: he's not concerned for the safety of the citizens, he's afraid of the citizens.

2. Anyone that has to obey such a law already got his balls in the government's castration tang, how much and proudly he speaks about his legal gun possession. He's alreday more than half defeated.

The example with the car wasn't litterally. My car is very roadworthy, but I wouldn't give a damn if it wasn't. This isn't my car but it looks exactly the same:

1,5 tons of Swedish steel, top velocity 200 km/h. Pity for anyone who happens to go in my way. 8)

And you are a coward from life. You would probably gladly shoot someone just to see them bleed, and would blow your head open when the law came a-knocking.

Soooo, in other words, you don't care about hitting anyone else on the road, or if you do, it's to protect your precious car, and not any drivers who might be innocent, but end up injured, or even dead?

That car is one of the safest in the world, for the driver and passengers. Yes, I would care, there are, despite all, some people who aren't subhuman garbage. But it's no big deal hurting or killing someone in the traffic in Sweden, if you're not drunk or it's obvious that you were extremely neglectful. I hit a biker some years ago with my old car. I had to pay 600 SEK and that was it (about US$80).

Quatermass, look at my posts in the "interesting theory"-thread in this forum. Would a complete jerk have that knowledge or come up with those arguments?
