My guess would be that he was a sociopath, and quite possibly bipolar (not that bipolar's necessarily bad, but some real jerks are/have been). I haven't made a study of the abominable man, but I don't see anything indicating Asperger's. The others, yes.
Sorry if I'm being over-sensitive here, but are you sure there's a correlation between being bipoalr and being a jerk? Are there more jerks in the bipolar population than in the general one?
I'm not sure I see the realtion, and I'm bipolar.

i like the fact that he was a good painter. just because he had people killed doesnt make him a bad person.
You like the fact that he was a good painter, I hate the fact that my grandmother lived three years of hell, and for years after that still had nightmares, was paranoid so she hid food even in Israel, and never spoke about it with her sons while growing up, or with her husband, because she didn't want to pass her trauma on.
Just because others were killers, doesn't say killing is okay. And Hitler was responsible for much more than killing.

well if he was (which I doubt seriously) I would not claim him as one.
I however do think he was a sociopath with malignant narcisim.
No, if he was a sociopath, he would probably be in jail or something.
Not sure if it was sarcastic or not - but he sat in German prison.

Why didn't they just shoot them?
Would've been kinda more efficient. Guess they never thought of it
They did. They stopped for a few reasons - one of them because even the most hating Nazis couldn't keep killing people loking in them in the eyes for too long.
