The best argument for the resurrection is well, nobody would die for a lie, would they?

Which, combined with utterly zero actual evidence can be seen as an admission they've got nothing except for faith.

People die for lies they believe in regularly, but further, a person can lie about someone else dying and why they died.

There's zero evidence for the claims that the resurrection claim depends upon, let alone of the resurrection itself.

My former religion claimed that faith was based on evidence because the Bible is totally rock-solid evidence.

They liked the scripture at Hebrews 11:1. Here’s what it says in their questionable translation of the Bible:

Sometimes I wish American politics never existed. The far right have changed everything.

The NRA have endorsed gun control legislation on 2 different times.

Once, during the surge of KKK activities in the 1920s, a lot of black people wanted to arm themselves and the NRA worked to introduce legislation to make it harder for them.

The other time was in the '60s when the Black Panthers had armed themselves because California police were suspiciously beating and killing a large number of blacks; the NRA generously authored legislation that Reagan signed to try and restrict their access to firearms.

Many (most?) people who obsess about trans women in sports don’t even watch or care about women’s sports. That’s how my dad is. It seems like nothing more than a relatively well-accepted (or very well-accepted depending on one’s location) way to express bigotry.

Male gaze seems like it's at the core of straight guys who complain about transwomen in women's sports. They don't care about the athletes or women's sports in general, they care about feeling less masculine after drooling over a transwoman.

Yeah, I think that makes a lot of sense because I don’t see why else they would care so much or find it so threatening.

My dad even gets uncomfortable when cis men don’t conform to stereotypical gender roles, like if he sees a man cry. It conflicts with his rigid notions of gender. His concept of acceptable gendered behavior is extremely narrow although that’s pretty much the norm in the culture I grew up in.
