To play Devil's Advocate for a moment: How long have these tenants had to prepare for this day?  They knew it was coming; no one tried to hide it from them; so what have they done to assure themselves of having places to live?

Sure, Sleepy Joe could step in, socialize housing, and issue an edict that no one shall be homeless; but then what?

Those who had money to pay rent should have and those unable should have worked something out. When they are evicted it will cast a long shadow on their future housing prospects.

IOW it will be permanent homelessness for them?

Well renting again will be very difficult with an eviction on their record. They may end up in motel suites. Problem with that is they are governed by innkeeper laws and not landlord tenant rental law. Which means they can be kicked out immediately for non payment of rent.

That perfectly describes Reagan's second term (he was senile and or had Althimer's) and George Ws entire Presidency. There hasn't been a legitimate two term Republican Presidency that didn't end in disgrace since that of Eisenhower.

Gosh, talk about selective amnesia among the right!
Trump - crazy madman with selfish narcissistic traits
Bush Jr - seemed to be off with the fairies 90% of the time, known to have smoked crack
Reagan - suffered dementia for part of the time he was president
Vice President Dan Quayle - one of the most incompetent people to take a leadership role in the history of the US

Such a joke.

For one party there is no shame since there has never been any consequence for their actions.
Agreed, and their supporters have no desire for them to be held accountable. A party with a legion behind it that sees no fault in it whatsoever has no incentive to change. The only way to put a stop to their reign of terror is for them to lose seats in the House, Senate and state legislatures. That's a tall order, for sure. It's up to Americans to make that happen.

It looks like Kamala isn't loving Mr Biden...

Edit: There have been rumours over the past few days that there is a high level of conflict between Mr Biden's supporters\staff and Ms Harris's in the White House according to some sources...Not sure if true, though, but if it is it would help explain the picture above..

Unless my eyes are deceiving me it just looks like she's reading Brictoria. Not exactly high drama.

Well, whatever she's reading is towards the middle of the table...

She's wearing her contacts, and following the trajectory of her eyes so I suspect she is able to read the file/memo from a distance.

Anyway Kamala only has eyes for Joe

I was under the impression that America had a long history of a large divergence in the haves and the have nots. 8)

Oh look another Holocaust denier who thinks that WW2 was genocide against Germans. If we had wanted that we could have just lined them up and ran them over with tanks.

Look at it this way. If you were a landlord would you want to rent to someone with an eviction on their record?

It has often been said that all of the homeless people living on the streets of Los Angeles could be rounded up and put to work on the farms and in the fields of central and northern California; and by doing so, eliminate the need for foreign "guest" workers.

Being well-informed about the source also informs me about the motive behind the content.  Then again, even a blind pig will find an occasional truffle.
So if his motive is dodgy, does that negate the truth in what he's saying? Does the truth evaporate in the presence of a bad motive?
Like I said, even a blind pig finds an occasional truffle.  Even someone as daft as Ron Paul can occasionally be correct, but that does not make right all of the crap that flies out of his pie-hole.
No, it doesn't. [...]
Good.  Now you may understand why I disregard everything that certain other members may post, even when they are (very rarely) correct -- it is simply not worth the time and effort of sifting through their tons of crap to find the one lone jewel.

It's generally the case that when a person attacks the source, it means they lack the ability to refute what that source said...Much as some make a point of announcing they disregard what others say - merely because they don't like not being able to refute their words.

Personally, I find reading what others say (whether I agree or not - or even if I find it credible) to be quite informative, as it provides a better understanding not just of the person, but also of those with similar views, giving a different perspective on the subject. I don't have to agree with their words (or what is behind them), but at least I show them some respect by not ignoring them merely because I don't agree with them.
