I like Halo and I've played Halo 1 & 2. Good idea to read the Bible, how about you start a sermon?

Me? I barely can talk to a stranger, much less talk infront of a lot of people due to social anxiety, not to mention finding the right words and stuff like that.

If you started doing something like that on a small group basis, and then built your way up to larger ones, it would do you a lot of good.

Speaking of whining, Postperson is now saying that I badger people.

parakeet: postie may be right there. If you don't want everyone to argue the topic, don't put it up. You may as well lock the threads then if you don't want debate.

If people don't want to talk about it why do they come and badger me?

If he posts a topic, and says "Christians only, no trolls", then please respect his wishes. As much as I despise organised religion, I do not see the need to mock it every time it comes up. Oh yes, I do love to jab at it, but not always. iamnotaparakeet does have the right to have a thread for Christians only for debate and discussion.

But then again he can't expect to be left alone if he comes into another thread and expect us to play by his rules. That does not work. Threads on a public forum should not be made exclusively to keep other people from arguing about the topic. Debating is two-sided, no matter what is posted. I never denied them the right to say what they wanted, but when I said something, was I offered the same courtesy?

I don't ask for people to abide by my rules in threads where I'm not the original poster. However I would like it if everyone would follow and respect the OP's wishes. Would anyone like it if in the Alphabet Game someone started using the Greek Alphabet and when asked to follow the OP's intentions they just kept on going? I am not going to do that and I ask that people would give me the same courtesy and stop making excuses as to why they should do whatever they want.

Exclusivity on a public forum does not work, because every forum is open to anyone who bothers to look. This forum was obviously set up that way, otherwise you, and the other like minded people would be in your own private areas that no-one else would have access to. If you don't want debate, fine; just remember that everyone has a right to voice their opinion, not just a select few.

So how do I set up a private area?
