Consciousness = Realm.

Anyone read The Tibetan Book of the Dead or Dante's Divine Comedy?

Did you ever consider the thought that maybe Heaven and Hell are imaginary? Much like most other things you appear to believe..

Did you ever consider that backwards?

Explain how it's backwards, and also while you're at it explain how religion isn't backward.

Sometimes it's fun to play stupid but it is an adolescent trick that can be annoying. I suppose that's your intent.

Ah, well in that case yes I did think about it and came to the conclusion that most likely either do not exist due to the fact neither have any proof or any signs of existing at all.

The Russian engineers heard the screams of millions of humans!! !

So that basically means the Russians still have a gulag running underground (literally and figuratively)...

Not evidence pointing to the existence of Hell underneath the earth...

Haliphron do you have any sources or links I can follow to learn more?.. that is both creepy and interesting..

Another explanation is the underground concentration camps.. *shudders at the thought of people screaming and suffering down there*

The likelihood of an underground torture camp seems most remote since above ground prisons are easier to establish and have no limits on nastiness. Why is it so much worse if it's underground?

A belief in an actual location for hell is so obviously naive as to be beyond consideration. No doubt the eruption of volcanos gave primitive societies the idea of eternal post death torture but it seems to me that anybody over four years old today should have better sense in the matter.

I agree with you 100%. BTW Sand, and Misspickwickian, I was totally being Sarcastic and making an ironic Joke
because its just so Effing ridiculuous that its actually amusing. Furthermore, I remember reading about it once in Weekly World News, THEN finding a referrence to it on a fundy website which included an Art Bell clip. For those who dont know, Art Bell had a sensationalist radio show in the 90s called Dreamland which was pseudoscientific nonsense for the gullible masses. To summarize, the "well to hell" as it was called was and still is one of the great urban legends of the 90s. :D

Have look here and goto some of the links of the bottom of the page  : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Well_to_Hell_hoax

Hell is described as the Bottomless Pit. On Earth, a bottomless pit is obviously not achievable. You'd jusyt keep digging, down and down, till you passed through the planet's molten core and out the other side. Only in a non-corporeal realm could anything be bottomless. Obviously.

Back in the day, we used to think Hell was nothing but a dark spiral staircase spiralling down, down into the darkness forever. And your being in Hell consisted of you being forced to descend that infernal staircase for all eternity. You never reach the bottom 'cause there's no bottom to reach ...

Hell has a few other classic definitions. Anyone?

there is way too many idiots who talk about religion and cannot talk with common sense and logic, any question regarding afterlife etc imo is never going to be known, Why? because when you die, no-one is going to come back to report what happened (lol at the people who think otherwise)

religious people have got to understand why i don't believe in religion, religion expands every extreme and it IS, it IS, and tool ultimately for evil, remember if your not religious, DOES NOT mean you are evil, religion will smartly prove otherwise, but ultimately that is there form of control and brainwashing agenda, please think of brainwashing not as the crazy way you see on tv, but realise the tv is one of many brainwashing tools, only intelligence can set you free from the suttle forms/methods of control...therefore i have every reason to fear all goverment as government goes hand in hand with religion, people have understanded the religious system and have tried to exploit it by recreating there own form for there own agenda

but also the double edged blade of religion is that it can help people, we have to understand when religious people get together to fundraise for diseased or injured people, we have to thank THOSE people, not the religion, religion does not enforce good things to happen, we do, religion does enforce bad things to happen, and that is why it is a tool for war, religions = war
