Me too. They drop the test tubes, their theories are gibberish and name one baby that's published a peer-reviewed paper...

Surprisingly though, babies and children have about four times the neural synapses as adults do, which helps them to acquire languages rapidly.

You sure about that Keet? -.- I thought a neural network was mostly blank at birth, the reason why ADD's impact is lessened come adulthood is because of the multiple connections your brain has made thus far which kind of makes up for the synaptic problems that cause a lack of neurotransmitter substance, resulting in ADD. <.<

Anyways, i require proof plz. <.<

I read about it when trying to find research regarding the processing speeds of the human brain, which I had heard a number of 1,000 terahertz and a memory capacity of 250 terabytes. Sorry, I haven't found it again, just recalled it from memory.

A neural network might be mostly blank at birth, but it is developing at a vastly accelerated rate.

They had super genius kids who had only 20% or less of their brains intact due to complications at birth. CT scans showed that the remaining brain matter was operating at like 90% of potential in ways normal brains are never wired. The researchers credited the phenomenon to the fact that the brain damage happened when the kids were still developing as infants. A year or so later and they would have been vegetables for life.
