and paving the streets with reactors?:

I am not holding my breath. If it comes, it will come when it comes. Or not as the case may be. In the mean time we need industrial strength power. I vote for paving North America over from coast to coast with fast breeder reactors. We also should find a way of tapping into the internal heat of the planet. There is enough there for a billion years which is just about as long as this planet has for sustaining large size living beings. In a billion years the sun will be so hot as to boil off the oceans.

I am pro sustainable development, but i am against all "greenism" because it has gone past the point of sanity: The major reason is that the green - or environmentalism party we have in Sweden is too far to the left for me and they have some rather insane ideas on how to run a country. I cannot vote for a bunch of peace loving hippies who ignore reality.

I still recycle and stuff.

I voted green party in the last 2 presidential elections. Its not so much that I am a green party supporter. It's more that I don't see a great difference between the republicans and the democrats and I dislike them both. I'm up for something new.

I liked Cynthia last go-round. She actually stands for something and believes in it. She's since been taken hostage by the naZionsts and released.

I support green parties on a country-by-country basis, depending on what green issues are at the forefront of their campaign and whether they truly fill a gap in politics. In Ireland I supported the Green Party, they then entered government as a small minority party and have been deeply unpopular - though I still support them, even if I feel they haven't quite done enough of what I would like them to do. They are likely to be wiped out at the next election with no seats, to subsequently disband.

In Canada I feel that with the current First Past the Post system there is no point in voting Green. First the NDP should enter a coalition government with the Liberals on the condition of having a referendum on an electoral system of proportional representation such as single transferable vote, and then as long as that one passes I have no problem with people voting Green. As things stand the Green Party merely serves to divide the left in Canada still further and ensure Harper stays in power.

Any Green Aspies. How about Aspies after they have ridden on the Tilt-A-Whirl at the local amusement park?
