For those who think Zeitgeist: The Movie has no sources...
I've debated with him and he never attacked my character. In fact, I think he's more knowledgeable than most people on this forum, although I don't agree with him on quite a few issues. I assume that if he must have such a strong negative opinion on an individual, he must have clear reasons to do so.
May I ask you a question? Does being "knowledgeable" give a person the right to attack people personally even though they are aware that the rules of this forum state that:
"2. Personal attacks.
This includes insinuation, ridicule and personal insults, regardless of whether direct or indirect. Attacking an opinion, belief or philosophy is acceptable, but attacking the person making the comments is not."
Calling someone a "freaking moron" is a blatant violation of this rule.
Ans besides, you can be the most knowledgeable person in the world, but if you hold a certain belief system dogmatically enough, then naturally your view of an opposing view is gonna be met in your mind with strong opposition and immediate bias. Just coz you have an intelligence that is relative to the conditions, doesn't mean you are immune to prejudice and bias.
Orwell's OPINION that the ideas I promote is "crazy" is therefore nothing more than his OPINION. Just like his OPINION that calling me a "freaking moron" is acceptable behaviour on a forum, which by the way IT IS NOT. Just because he has a "Veteran" status because he has been here longer DOES NOT give him the right to beligerently insult people.
This is why I will not take this individual seriously. He is actually evidently incapable of respectfully disagreeing and instead has to resort to personal attacks.

Thanks for trying to defend me Khan, but it's likely not worth the bother. Adam will continue believing whatever he wishes, regardless of what you or anyone else says. He decided long ago that I am the embodiment of all evil, and at this point I don't care enough to even attempt to debate him on anything. You cannot reason with someone who has forgone its use.

I'm not a religious person, and the word evil to me is nothing more than a loaded semantic mess of a word that is filled with only religious meaning, and since I am not religiuous, I do not believe in "evil" per sa.
I will believe whatever I wish? I find it interesting that it seems you believe you are above and beyond the constraints of the forum rules and that you are justified in launching personal attacks at those you simply don't agree with. That is NO justification.
Like I said I have complained about your behaviour and I am prepared to send more complaints.

I haven't seen zeitgeist but mean to watch it for a while. I used to like David Icke and conspiracy theories. I became a bit disilusioned though when a poster on his forum went through his books thoroughly and found what he claimed were inaccuracies and bad research. Noone on the forum would answer his arguements or engage him in debate, just accuse him about his bad intentions like "why are you attacking Icke" "why do you have an axe to grind against him" etc. I think thats the same with any follower of anything as "hero-worshipful" as that though, for instance if you write an article challenging the bible a lot of Christians will not answer the points but just say "why do care, why do you want to hurt the bible" etc. accusing intentions to avoid actually having to answer the difficult points.
Well that is a great healthy attitude man. Even though Zeitgeist is not a conspiracy film, that hasn't stopped it being grabbed hold of by the conspircy theorist community. My advice is check it out and make up your own mind about it. These guys here are bound to hound you with accusations of it being "conspiracy crap" and "ridiculous" and "don't waste your time".
Make up your own mind.

Massive paragraphs of chest beating doesn't get you anywhere and makes you look like a douche.
Oh dear. I'm not entire sure where to start with this fellow. lol. All I can say is that your perception has no weight on the reality of my words.
Oh I see. Please accept my humble apologies, master. I didn't realise I was dealing with a bone crushingly heavy concept.

No, not at all. You misunderstand. All it takes is to review the information provided for free online about The Zeitgeist Movement, The Venus Project, and what we are commited to implementing, which is the spreading of information and the feasability of a better direction for mankind, and a shift in value systems and thus the transition from a monetary-based economy, to a resource-based economy.
When you review this information WITHOUT bias and WITHOUT projecting into it, you will see for yourself what you can do to push for a better future. And also if you review this information with the mentality that it is information, then you will receive a clearer picture. Biases and prejudices provide an automatic filter for our minds and it serves only to taint perception.
This information comes from a different frame of reference that we are used to within society, and hense, it is understandable that most people have a knee-jerk reaction against it. In fact, to give an example, when the United States constitution and bill of rights was first written, it was shown to high school kids to give their feedback. You know what they said?
"This sounds like communist propaganda"
This is the BILL OF RIGHTS they are talking about. For one generation to condemn it, then a couple of generations down the line, patriotism uses it as one of it's bases which millions of americans willfully lay down their lives purely for their admiration for it.
Try telling any devout "Patriot" nowadays that the bill of rights is nothing more than comminist propaganda now, and see their reaction.
So you see it's not that this direction is even particularly complicated. It is just a train of thought that is very foreign to conventional thought.

Precisely. Don't take my word for it. Check it out for yourself.
