Neither do I, i've not got much time for femminists though.
Yep, so I heard.

it's pretty dismissive to decide that you don't have much time for feminists. we are individuals who even disagree with each other, so it's not like there is a unified feminist agenda. it's kinda like saying you don't have time for australians or something - it's too diverse and broad of a group to simply disregard.

There's no point in having time for them, they just get on my nerves. Yeah, women had it hard in the dark ages, but they have things ok now, especially on this site. So they should just chill out.

I know what it is, and I know its not a man hater. I don't agree with a femminists political views, cause they have it worse off in some areas, and men do in others. So it evens out in my view. But thats a whole other argument. It doesn't really have much to do with their political views, its just a case of them being too touchy about things on here.

I've learned to ignore this debate here on WP. Clearly, men are more capable of defining feminism than the women that support it. :?

It bothers me though. He should use the correct terms. If he means "man hater" he should say "man hater"

A lot of men here seem to think feminism = misandry
Its wrong, but I don't know how we can change their minds..

He's called me a "feminist" in the past. Although I am one, I am not one who hates men, when that is actually what he is accusing me of. I simply don't trust them because the way i've been treated by them. Doesn't mean there aren't nice ones out there.

I get the impression from my interactions that Mr. Breeg sees things in very black & white termsI'm sorry you've been mistreated by men before :( ... I'm glad you still think some of us are okay though :)

Thats horse crap. Its usually a case of me not explaining what I mean enough so all can understand. Or people just get the wrong idea in general, probably by only seeing things in black and white.

I didn't miss your point, I just don't agree with it, and made my own point. I know you're all individuals, but someone with those kind of views just does my head in. Its like if someone is for fox hunting, I don't care about the rest of their personality, but with them I won't just get a little bit wound up about them being silly, i'd be willing to stand in front of them and die, and if I got my hands on them, show them how torture feels.

No. But i'm saying a lot are, and thats where some of the male vs female arguments will stem from, along with the men who blame women for their failed lovelifes.

No, you really did miss the point. Not all feminists are out there fighting for women's lib. Some of us are stay at home moms that submit to our husbands.

Your attitudes on marijuana and feminism seem to point in the direction of that claim not being horse crap, but I'm not really interested in pursing that dialogue

:lmao: No I don't think you do. It was just another example. I was trying to say, someone with those views just get on my nerves a lot, but more in a silly way. Fox hunting was a bad example.

I think thats your own point. And I know that. When I say most or some, that doesn't mean all!! ! And i'm the one who sees things in black and white? Jeesh.

I think I just upset you cause I didn't agree with you that weed is the key to fixing the worlds economy and problems  Maybe my views on drugs are black and white, but then again it was me saying things were complicated with them, so.

I never said that it would 'solve all the worlds problems', nor was I upset. Don't put words into my mouth. I was offended that you used to drive around stoned like a total moron, and I was also offended by the lack of respect you showed the various contributors in that thread
