Slick Willie was a monster who screwed America a lot more than he screwed Lewinsky.

  • He cut critical social investments to "balance the books" and chuck mentally ill women off welfare and onto the streets.
  • He furthered the internationalization of the disasterous system of patent monopolies.
  • He "balanced the books" and keep unemployment low through a serious of bubbles.
  • He screwed over labour, failed to stop America's industrial decline with a High Dollar policy that ensured more jobs went offshore, and replaced manufacturing jobs with low-level, part time, unsecure service sector jobs.
  • Finally, he repealed financial regulations that kept America safe since the Depression and failed to address a corporate crime wave.

Got news for you, we can't spend money on everything.

Government's job is national defense, not being a charity to make people dependent on Government.

Start Taxing the Pelosi winery...

Anyways, this garbage about private jets is b.s. concocted by the left in an attempt to stir up class warfare.

Sure, I'd be happy with Swedish levels of taxation on upper end liquors.

Regardless, not only are Country Club Conservatives oblivious to racial inequalities, it seems they're also oblivious to class inequalities. Whether you're sane enough to realize it or not, Country Club Conservatives and billionaires and millionaires have been waging class warefare against the working class for decades.

Most rich people in the US are retirees and small business owners whom don't have corporate jets.

People making $250,000 or more a year don't own jets (which have an operating cost of $3,000,000 a year), this argument is a load of bull.

Billionaires and millionaires have still been helped out enormously by tax policy and this ought to stop.

That's just the same old Democrat BS rhetoric.

HE didn't cut any spending. The circumstances did.

The Cold War was over.
The U.S. was not involved in any war.
There was no major domestic crises.
The economy was doing exceptionally well.

It had nothing to do with Clinton.

If any of those 4 were the opposite, (and it doesn't matter who is president) there wouldn't have been a surplus.

Taxing small business owners more does not help the economy, it causes a large increase in unemployment (which is what Democrats want because they want people on welfare).
Or some jackass Republican president could have destroyed the economy with tax cuts for the rich.

When did I say tax small businesses? I said, tax the rich!

-Bill, otherwise known as Kraichgauer

Sarcasm: I didn't know small business owners were dirt poor whom live in card board boxes...

Small Business Owners are the "rich" people you are advocating hiking taxes on.

Being that I don't live in a bubble, I have in fact known a few small businessmen in my time, and I can't think of a single one who could be described as rich. The best they could achieve would be upper middle class. And none of them would be affected by Obama's tax hike on the rich.

I know small business owners too, and just cause they don't think they are rich, doesn't mean they won't get hit with the tax hike. Oh and most rich people in the US are retirees whom saved up their money over the course of their lives, they aren't some fat cat.

Republicans are pointing out the unintended (or intended) consequences of the tax hikes, which doesn't fit Obama's private jet narrative.

Republicans have been trying to tell everyone - from the richest to the poorest - that the government will tax them to death, and that just isn't reality. Not when it's the super rich and corporations - that is, people who hardly need tax breaks - who'd be the only ones taxed.

All you've shown is you have no clue as to what's going on.

1. about 51% of the Country does not pay Federal income tax.
2. About 10% pays the bulk of the Federal income tax.

That's actually inviting this country to collapse.
