Have you noticed that Lord Obama has been in perpetual campaign and "town meeting" mode since he was elected. He has yet to manifest any talent in leadership or governance.

No, but I've noticed a bunch of ignorant, ill-informed, political comments from the political fringes, which generally fill me with a sense of ennui.

Which is about the same no matter who's in office.

Your man Obama is a dud just like Jimmuh Carter. A lost cause. A walking disaster.

This comment definitively proves you would benefit from working on your reading comprehension.

I'll make it clearer though: I am not a partisan and never will be.

Save your partisan comments for someone on the "other" side who cares. I don't.

Historical observations about the effectiveness of any President should not be taken as an endorsement of any particular policy of said President.

[quote="ruveyn"We have Crony Capitalism which is the worst combination of all.[/quote]

I will happily agree with you that Crony Capitalism is not good for our economy or the nation, even if it isn't particularly new.

I was rather glad that Bachmann brought it into the conversation in that debate. I wish she hadn't gone off into other areas afterwards though.

I'm not terribly convinced many Americans realize the extent pay-to-play operates in our political system and economy. Most folks just have enough to do keeping a job, paying the bills, and dealing with family issues.

To the extent anyone wants to bring that problem into general public view, I'm glad if they do.

Fact: Obama's policies have not improved the economy.

Therefore:

He is a dud.

It is not like your economy had a way to improve. It is not like the people in power have a reason to improve the economy. As long as the CEOs are happy, why worry?

 None of us are "Obama fans". It's easy for you people to gloat over the horrible situation the entire western world is in while providing no f***ing answers yourselves. Do you honestly believe things would be any better if McCain and ditso girl were in power? It's especially easy for you when you have, what, 15 more years to live?

With the trade deficit the way it is we are screwed no matter what, at least until the dollar devalues somewhat.

I have already given my answer: Let the rotten barn collapse and build a new one right.

The Carter Administration was a train wreck. Under Carter the Stagflation index hit 21 percent (sum of inflation and overnight interest rate at the Fed). Obama's numbers are better since inflation is very small. But the economy is stalled.

There might not be anything left to build a new one out of.

Actually, I do think John McCain and Sarah Palin could have done a better job than Obama.

Wow, this is a shocker I did not see coming. I've seen comparisons to former Presidents Carter, Hoover, even pre- civil War Buchanan with Obama in popularity. But now, latest polls have him with our previous President W. Bush. Obama has sunk far from the heights he began at when entering office, with probably further sinking in popularity ahead.

Well for starters Bush didn't run around calling Democrats the enemy.

How did we build it in the first place? The Earth has not run dry, and intelligence has not yet ceased to be. All the makings are there. All we need is the will.
