The consequence of the U.N. ordaining that Palestine is a sovereign state necessary implies the de-legitimizing of Israel as a sovereign state. The result of this travesty will be a bloody war which the Palestinians cannot win.

The Temple of Dagon will crash down upon the heads of the Philistines (That is was Palestine means btw) must as it did during the time of Sampson. Before the Israelis permit themselves to be the exclusive victim of this nonsense then will bring the roof down on both themselves and the Palestinians and probably several Arab Speaking Muslim nations. This time the Jews are not marching to the gas chambers willingly. They are going to put a price tag on their lives.

really the pitifully armed Palestinians are going to put super-advanced Israelis in gas if they have access to the international court?
is that really what is going to happen?
So what Israel uses the Sampson response? (a euphemism for a nuclear bomb)
If Palestine becomes a state? preemptively killing themselves in the process Please.
The greatest moment of Jewish history was not Masada.
and this new Masada is held siege not by roman soldiers but by peasants with homemade bombs?
I think the Jewish people can afford to be generous.

The Jews have been far too generous for far too long. It is the turn of the Amalekites to suffer. And there is a nice healthy Jewish community in the U.S.. Our people will survive even this foolishness.

They are not even Amalekites they are Edomites they have nearly the same incidence of the kohanim gene as Jews.

The 1967 borders are indefensible, the only reason Israel survived the Six Day war was cause they didn't wait for the Arab militaries to cross the border into Israel.

If the treath come from the south-west, why then pushing to the east? Israel was in his right to defend itself, not to depopulate peoples who had nothing to do with it. In true, victory was on the side of Israel only after a few hours of fight with the destruction of the egyptian aviation; then Moshe Dayan had the stupid idea of extend the frontiers, without any justification whatsoever.
You can never trust the military, always keep it under leash.

Masada will not fall a second time. Count on it.

I will tell you a story. When Moses our teacher was a prince of Egypt he saw an Egyptian task master smiting a Hebrews slave. Suppressing that almost overwhelming Jewish urge to be reasonable and consider all sides of the question, to ask what terrible forces made this Egyptian so cruel, Moses did smite the Egyptian and bury his body in the sand.

Now once and for all. Screw compassion and be as hard and cruel as the situation demands. No good deed will go unpunished.

This is like that Aussie, Rosenbaum with his it is time for Jews to stop being scholars and thinkers
and to become warriors flap.
I could not agree less.
If we stop being reasonable, if we stop being moral, if we stop being thinkers, we stop being Jews
It will be the end of us in a way that nebish from austria could not even imagine.

Palestinians don't really want a legitimate state. If they gained statehood they would become responsible for any illegal actions committed by the citizens, or it would be a pretext for a legitimate war. That's the last thing they want. They want anonymity from any action they take under sharia law.

Why do you think they reject statehood but want Israel to give up land? It's never enough.

If Israel falls to this insanity, the rest of the world is next.

Hang on. I thought that Abbas was after the two-state solution. How is the state of Israel de-legitimized if they are allowed to keep their statehood but Palestine is granted a separate and independent state?

A two state "solution" is a temporary preliminary to another war on Israel. Going back to the pre 1967 borders will live Israel almost indefensible short of a Sampson type action against the Palestinians.

Why is it that Americans seem to see Israel as their Jewish Mom? With all and guilt manipulation. "Support the Palestinian state-hood and Israel will have issues."

Well, guess what? The Palestinians have issues as well. That whole expansion for Israel to become "defensible" mean the theft and destruction of homes. And such theft and destruction of homes delivers people to the claws of terrorists.

What Obama did, was a pledge of allegiance to Israel. US looks less and less imposing or impressive now that it seems they serve the wishes of a radical, radical middle west regime.

IIRC, Palestine HAS its own country.

They want Israel's territory as their own.

Educate yourself....

I'm going to guess you called zer0netgain an idiot, which probably means he is a really intelligent person because you really aren't a good judge of anything.

Well, I guess if there is anyone who knows about idiocy, it has to be you.
