A decent way to solve the evolution thing would be to either offer an optional class on evolution for science credit or to offer it and intelligent design simultaneously in a class.

Since intelligent design is not based on science, then other non scientific viewpoint should also be acceptable like the flying spegetti monster theories.

Well, there may not be much scientific evidence to back it up, but I think intelligent design makes alot of real world since though, moreso than most religions. I mean think about it logically, the bible, kaballa, and koran all contain many of the same names. Now put in place the differring times that they all took place.... Many of the "miracles" could have been advanced technology. I am speaking of coarse, of the alien astronaught theory and how it explains the major religions of the world (and also ancient pagan mythologies).
I think it should be taught as a theory, just as evolution and any religion should (notice I said **any** religion). Personally I believe in intelligent design, but I also believe in evolution. It is my perception that there is alittle bit of truth in all beliefs and modern ways of thinking, but none of them are even anywhere close to being dead on the money. This is why I don't call myself anything, not christian, atheist, muslim, buddhist, jewish, pagan, hindu, not liberal or conservative, or socialist, definately not capitolist, not femminist, I don't follow anything... I just cherry pick the parts I agree with from here and there, indiscriminantly.

i think that republicans are pretty conservative and traditional. they tend to like things being the same or consistent with thier beliefs. whereas, left wing dems or liberals are interested in "shaking things up" and change. (also to fit thier beliefs) i'm not very political, but both parties do have thier own slant. one thing noticed though, is that republicans do set out and typically do deliver results as to thier opposition. many dems "say" that they are intested in accomplishing some goal to serve the people, but in actuality this does not occur. it is almost as if by them stating that they are interested in helping people it will help them recieve more votes, which in turn does occur. the political system as a whole is corrupt. and i say "Aspie for President" wouldn't that be weird?

ha ha, just some thoughts.
