And you see that as a good thing? and think everyone should be forced into the military with that being the policy towards any who doesn't exactly want to go shoot a bunch of people for instance.

People in the military are volunteers and understand that they have given up certain of their rights to be in the military. You aren't allowed to disrespect a superior officer or especially the commander-in-chief. You also aren't allowed to associate your uniform with your political views.

The article says he's been in for 9 years. He claims he "was shocked". You don't get to 9 years in without having training on exactly this topic, more than once.


I salute this statement.


It's true that that's the regulations, but they should be adjusted. The president and the other politicians are elected officials and the soldiers fighting for freedoms in this country should have those freedoms as well.

Not shot (except perhaps in wartime) but booted out from the service with a less than honorable discharge. One cannot have a military service and tolerate insubordination.
