You mean the death of a patient in a ambulance trapped in the traffic is insignificant?

Four died in Benghazi...still waiting for the hammer to fall on that, but the media won't go after it.

After all, as Hillary said, what does it matter NOW if someone lied?

Citizens of a nation that had just finished beating its CIA-backed dictator to death attacked an American embassy. Where the hell is the controversy, exactly? How is any of that unexpected? What, because people thought it was in response to a video some guy made, which was inspiring other embassy attacks at exactly the same time?

Look, whenever there's a spree shooting in America nobody knows any correct details about what happened until days after it happened. Do you really expect a massive press pool in war-torn Libya to have the full details available immediately after the ambassador was killed?

The attack was known to be coming. Extra security was requested...and DENIED. Help was able to get there in time (proven again and again in spite of media spin) but the authority to go was repeatedly DENIED.

Then there was the question of what our ambassador was doing at a CIA MISSION (not the embassy) at the time of the attack. Nobody is prying into that, but the evidence that has surfaced points to a modern-day Iran-Contra scandal.

Those four deaths are four too many. But, correct me if I'm wrong, neither Clinton or Obama had passed the blame on to loyal underlings, with a push under the bus. While the massive inconvenience in New Jersey hadn't caused any loss of life (even that 91 year old lady probably would have died, anyhow), the point is, Christie - if guilty - had passed responsibility on to his people, denying any guilt on his part. Something very Nixonion about that.

Something new to add to the liberal lexicon?

Oh, it's been used for sometime now.

I'll take Nixon any day over that blithering idiot that preceded him.

Only a slight improvement. But an improvement nonetheless.

Seriously, if there was anything there, don't you think the Republicans would be shouting it from the rooftops? There are FIVE separate committees exclusively devoted to Benghazi, not to mention the ridiculous number of hearings already held, including a boatload of time wasted on them leading up to a government shutdown. It is a waste of time and there are so many more important things that our legislative body should be worrying about.

Maybe they're not prying into it because, you know, the CIA would rather the whole world not know what they were doing. And if I had to take a wild guess, it was probably the same thing they do in every case: Try to find a new dictator that will play nice with America and make sure he seizes power.

Yeah, nobody has ever used Nixon's infamous legacy before now. Those wacky millennials are always coming up with something, am I right?

Now they are saying Chris Christie needs to lawyer up. I am so glad everyone is getting a good idea of this guy's character before he runs for President.

Anyway, Mr. Christie's latest: a big crackdown on prostitution, to get some press coverage during the superbowl.
