I'm with Walrus on him being a lean hero.I don't think killing kids is ever a good idea,and the women were considered property by their husbands so it seems wrong to take them out,they most likely also got beat by hubby.Whenever I think of women and kids being killed,I'm reminded of General Sheridan and the slaughter of Native women,children and the elderly.

They didn't actually kill anyone. And, there were actually four white guys who were convicted of conspiring with them.
