Re: the twitter tag #killallmen

The VoiceForMen guy said “If a group of men – or worse, a group of MRAs – would’ve done something like that, the entire society would have demanded their heads on the sticks. Yet feminists can get away with virtually anything – from making a mockery out of genital mutilation to outright calling for the extermination of the male sex”

He wasn't kidding about making a mockery out of genital mutilation. The feminist excuse for pushing circumcision while considering type I FGM to be a human rights violation is that there's no reduction in sensitivity in 'cut' men. Really? Even if that were true (which it isn't), you've just removed the most sensitive area for a lot of men. In that case, I guess it would be OK to snip their clits off just as long as the rest of their reproductve tract was still sensitive.

I have a son,and I did not have him circumcised. If he wants to do that it should be his choice, not mine.

There is a difference in magnitutde between cutting off a piece of foreskin on the penis and cutting off the clit. I was circumcised and while I question my parents' reason for it, it's not like it's had any profound impact on my life.

Having said that, many feminists do actually side with men's rights advocates on this issue. There is some validity to the argument even if it is perhaps exaggerated.

man hating feminists currently using twitter which is created by men calling for genocide and mass murder of men some even advocated using men and forced slave labour.

Yeah, there's a lot of hypocrisy that goes on. But I think the more rational feminists are trying to distance themselves from this kind of nonsense.

Something funny I came across on youtube.

People are crazy. Hopefully the more rational MRA members are trying to distance themselves from this nonsense as well.

why men are unable to discuss their own issues without dragging feminism into it

nowadays every single problem women try to raise are immediately overshadowed by men raised parallels with sometimes problems not of that order of magnitude (and when they are not they deserve to be raised on their own platform)

of course there are lots of radicals but they should be just identified as such and the main issues crystallized

this kind of divide just fuels radical thinking and hatred. we should all try to understand one another better instead of barricading with insisted differences

the tone of these discussions is really very wrong and not at all constructive. most of it is just people lashing out because of their own personal mistreatment, which is probably unavoidable in a gender discussion

becuase feminism is an anti-male hate movement that see men as evil oppressors, potential rapists and pedohiles, and dangerous while women are seen as weak, vulnerable and have no agency

feminism is the first world are mostly make up of pampered, sheltered, privileged white women. they use myths fake statistics claiming we are still living in a patriarchy. and if you disagree with then and use evidence to debunk thier lies they resort to censorship, shaming tactics, and in some cases threats and acts of violence.

the so called "radicals" are part of the mainstream feminist movement.

the feminists are the ones fuels the radicalism that is is now mainstream. today feminists are free to use the internet and social media like twitter calling for the genocide and mass murder of men. in tv shows anti-male sentiment is now coming, female characters can assault, injure and maim men with no consequences. a news report in the U.K reports that girls and women hitting and assaulting their male partners is becoming the norm because of these tv shows sending that message. recently i the U.S.A bill boards advertising the upcoming season of game of thrones have the quote "all men must die". but when you tell feminist these. they resort to the no true scotsman fallacy saying not all feminist are like that. when in the last 30 years they refuse to purge the radicals from their movement. if they call themselves "feminists" like these radicals. They are part of the problem.

using feminist shaming tactics is not constructive either

So pointing out the fact of mortality is man-hating now?

Typical.

can someone explain me this - what's up with all this anti-feminism?

is this an American thing?

is this an autistic men thing?

is this a PPR subforum thing? (though apparently it leaks quite a bit)

is this internet thing?

is this men thing?

I don't watch the show either, but then I wouldn't draw any sociological conclusions from an advertising campaign for it.

It's a subversion of sexism.

As 'man' is used as a shorter version of 'mankind', itself shortened from 'humankind', so 'men'.

A man may intone to other men, thinking only of other men as women don't even register in their consciousness, in a serious, weary way, that 'all men must die'. That is, 'all men are mortal'. He may have in mind only men and not women, as women are not deserving of such serious ponderances. That they are, as your video had it, frivolous, silly-minded creatures, and it's a marvel they can see their way to getting out of bed without twisting an ankle.

It relies on the dual meaning of men - that is, being used for both males and humans.

The subversion comes when a woman hears that and, presumably speaking for a group of women, responds, 'yes, but we are not men'.

Rather like in LOTR where the woman soldier kills the thing that boasts (something like) 'no man can kill me!'.

Ah, here's a short clip of it:

The first time I encountered it was on this forum and it's not attractive. I personally think that they are just trolling.

That makes no sense.

Yeah, really. Look, I realize that spectrum disorders can make it hard to process things like that, but the tagline is just an edgy way of saying, "Everyone has to die someday." And the line in the show is just a clever play on that tagline. Plus, why would you even have a .gif of that?

In my experience, it's usually this.
