Only time will tell, but probably nowhere good. Still, this doesn't make a Muslim's inaction guiltier than a non-Muslim's.

Back to the issue of Trump's newest hair brained, bigoted scheme - -
I understand he wants to forbid Muslim Americans traveling overseas from being able to return home to this country. And that includes Muslim servicemen and women. That's really a great recruiting strategy for getting Muslim American volunteers into the military... go fight overseas, and stay there, forever!

This is like "The dumbest show on earth". Quick, somebody change the channel!

There are likely many more - probably hundreds more worldwide - that we just haven't heard about because (1) they made anonymous notifications to law enforcement and (2) because law enforcement agencies often do not advertise successful preventions of terrorist attacks because they want to protect sensitive intelligence.

What's next? Rounding up all of the citizens in America that have a Middle Eastern, Central Asian, African, or South West pacific ancestry and then forcing them into interment camps? Only for the duration of the War on Terror right? Because it's obviously going to have a conclusion...right?

If the hysteria in this country reaches such a crescendo, egged on by the likes of Trump, that might eventually happen.

Is there any need to dig? More presciently, would it matter? What could possibly be in his closet to compare with his current campaign?

Trump is a disgusting scumbag bigot, and so are his supporters, what can I say..... As a Muslim, I find his comments disgusting....

"Thou shall not reprimand the blind fool who they believe are doing good. Let them see by themselves the sprouts of their mistakes for whom they believed in."

At the present time, I can see where Trump is coming from. If things change in the future, I will change my tune on this subject. I disagree with everything else the man says, but this I don't.

I no longer wonder how the people of Germany so willingly acquiesced to Hitler. They had been through a war and two bouts of hyperinflation that destroyed their economy and left most of them living on the edge of starvation, taking trains to the countryside and stealing crops from farmers to eat. Many remembered a time when Germany was a rich industrial power, and cities like Berlin were filled with ornate buildings built during better times. Hitler promised to resurrect Germany's economy and make it a great power once again.

In comparison, most Americans have enough to eat or almost enough, certainly people aren't driving to farms and stealing crops at gunpoint. We had a bad financial crash, and inflation, but nowhere near the collapse of the monarchy and the billion percent inflation in Germany. America is a declining power, yes, but we still have some power, we haven't had Russia and China kicking Americans out of their military bases. Germany's colonies were given to Belgium after WW1, an equivalent would be China forcing us to hand over our Pacific bases to them.

Yet we still have people cheering for Trump, who is like Hitler with a few billion dollars in the bank. Even worse, the SAME people who worried about Obama junking the Constitution support Trump doing such things as revoking the birthright citizenship of people born to immigrants and kicking Muslims out of the country, and doing it via executive order. These people would have the firepower necessary to resist a Hitlerian power grab, yet they seem to support it as long as it's "our guy" doing it.

So, maybe it's time to retreat to the woods and try to survive WW3, not that I'm sure that an all out nuclear war would be survivable anyway.

You can make fun of Trump all you want, but he's winning in the poles, isn't he? I would vote for him in two seconds. After this last terrorist attack, the US should be closing all borders - at the very least - to all immigrants for the time being.

I wouldn't vote for Trump if he was running for Class Clown.

It depends on where the Imam was taught and the type of literature at the Mosque. If the Imam is a Wahhabi they are most likely to be radical. If there is radicalized literature at the Mosque then the teachings will be radicalized.

He wont even win the republican nomination. He will lose the first couple primaries and then drop out. The republicans are going to want to win so they aren't going to nominate someone who can't win in the general election.

Or, he might make it to the Republican convention. In that case, as the mainstream party leadership wouldn't be insane enough to let Trump get the nomination, we could probably expect a brokered convention. And with that, you could expect Trump to violate his promise not to run as a third party candidate, insuring another Democratic victory.
