I think it's funny that some people are so afraid of gay and transgendered people that they'd vote to sink the entire country.

Rush Limbaugh getting the medal of freedom.....really?

It reminds me of what Padme said in "The Revenge of the Sith" when chancellor Palpatine was designated an emperor: "So this is how democracy dies......to the sound of thunderous applause."

I really hope this isn't a case of life imitating art.

It's amazing how hostile people are to LGBT people on online sites like yahoo news.

Buttigieg would seem to have no chance, since he's gay.

There are also millions of Americans who are supportive of the LGBT community, and they vote, too.
Not many years ago, some said Obama didn't have a chance because Americans would never vote for a black man, but we all know what happened there.

I bet it was for taking a stand against "political correctness".

To people like Trump and Rush, "political correctness" = not being able to freely and proudly use bigoted remarks without consequence.

Colonel Charles McGee, age 100, one of the last Tuskegee Airmen, receiving his promotion to Brigadier General in the Oval Office. McGee flew more than 400 combat missions in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam. Nancy Pelosi on camera ripped up his public recognition.

I think we both know that's not why she tore up Trump's speech.
The only reason why Trump is focusing any attention on African Americans on black history month is for the miserable way he had celebrated MLK Day, and wants to recover from that.

There has also been speculation that our 15th president, James Buchanan, may have been gay or asexual.

I'm going for Bernie, not Buttigieg. Buttigieg is in the pocket of the super rich and big corporations (see #PetesWineCave), plus there was the way he handled race relations in South Bend, which left a lot to be desired.

Yes, Buchanan was almost certainly our first gay President, but he also holds the infamy for being one of our very worst Presidents. Though Trump seems to be striving to win that distinction.

You're still trying to say Pelosi was attacking the people in the surrounding squares, when in fact she was only attacking Trump who was only using said people as a prop to score political points.
