There are also millions of Americans who are supportive of the LGBT community, and they vote, too.
Not many years ago, some said Obama didn't have a chance because Americans would never vote for a black man, but we all know what happened there.

I'm going for Bernie, not Buttigieg. Buttigieg is in the pocket of the super rich and big corporations (see #PetesWineCave), plus there was the way he handled race relations in South Bend, which left a lot to be desired.

Yes, Buchanan was almost certainly our first gay President, but he also holds the infamy for being one of our very worst Presidents. Though Trump seems to be striving to win that distinction.
