Just curious if violent insurrection at the direction of djt was finally crossing the line for any of you here?

There's like 20 people left on this forum.

Yep, when you are a leader and have too many idiots out there that look up to you like their god, you are accountable for whatever choices they make based on what you tell them.

Yep-yep.  A leader can delegate responsibility; but never accountability.

An attempted terrorist attack happened here in Portland in Pioneer Courthouse square in 2010. His dad turned him into the police when he heard about his plan and the police went along with it to arrest him. Yes he attempted it but this does not mean there was no crime.

Good set-up ... but what is the punch line?
I don't understand.
Never mind.  I thought your were leading in to a joke.

She’s being very literal atm.

Fnord was suggesting that trump supporters coming to the realization that they were wrong must be a joke because there’s very little chance diehard magas will ever have synapses fire in their brains that would allow them to make that connection - at least not yet, anyways. Even Michael Cohen said it took him a good decade to come to terms with the fact that he had been sort of enchanted by the spell of the donald & committed many stupid acts in his name. It truly is like mass Stockholm Syndrome from their cult leader for these people. They’re going to need time and professional help to come to terms with reality - IF they can..

I can see now how my post may have come off as snarky, but I was actually serious. I know there have been people out there that stopped supporting him because of this. I find it pitiful it had to come to this to maker them realize.

But yet I am surprised none of them here are admitting it but either they are too embarrassed (how many people loudly admit to being wrong?) or they know their support for Trump won't be tolerated here any longer.

I'd say people are showing their true colors when they are still supporting him. I can't even.

Nailed it!

Too embarrassed to admit they’ve been dead wrong all along, or ashamed to admit they still support him despite all of his anti-American values.

It does seem mildly amazing that 3 years ago, some members here were submitting posts in just about every active thread that consisted of nothing but the word "Trump" repeated over and over.  Those people are now gone.  Another mildly amazing fact: Some of them were banned; and, in spite of all the "Board Warnings", "Mod Warnings", and temporary suspensions, a lot of us who received these notices are still here.  So, however bad you may think some other member may be, those (former) members who supported Trump were much, much worse.

No wonder those Trump supporters who are still here are not being very vocal about their admiration for Trump.

So *that's* where they went...

I always wanted to ask them how they could reconcile their prior accusations against Obama for extreme executive overreach with the subsequent MAGA view that Trump should basically have carte blanche to do whatever he pleases as president.

Oh, well...

"People who live in glass houses should not throw stones." -- European saying, attributed to many

So when you Trumpsters are finished sweeping up all that broken glass, you can come over and polish my windows.

Isn’t the answer pretty black & white obvious to you? :?

At least we'll always have eachother

So, a few of those twenty were happily swallowing trumps boot up until the moment he incited the coup attempt that some people were ever-so-smugly-certain (and wrong) that trump would never do the thing that trump did. These days they seem to have contracted Romney-sia, and miraculously forgotten all times they and the other members of the Trump Defense Squad were scouring the forum to make sure trump was diligently defended at every turn.

Before the treason: "Trump is a fine man! He would never do that!"
After the treason: "You know, I never supported him. I knew he'd do this..."

It's not like we can't check the record. Previous posts are recorded. They make for great reading.

I waste time on all kinds of useless crap but I can’t imagine searching the forum to dig up trump support posts. We remember who those people were.

I can already imagine their response...

"FAKE NEWS!!  OBAMA!!  THE MEDIA!!  HILLARY!!  LOCK HER UP!!" (et cetera).

People are losing their jobs now that attended Capital Hill. Karma for them.

Some people see them as victims because they were duped. Anyone who falls for conspiracies is an idiot. Do companies want to employ an idiot?

I can probably name 5 of them. All but two were banned. I think one of their bans got uplifted. They were on a 6 month time out.
