Are you still loving Biden?
There's a thing about you Americans I don't understand:
The lower social classe people call for help from the government. Instead of voting for people like Bernie Sanders as president, they vote for Trump? I don't get it.
You don't like Obama, you don't like Biden. But you're still the lower class people, with poor economy, doing s**t jobs and have to be grateful for whatever pay you get.
Why don't you just vote for Bernie? It's easy. The lower class people in the U.S. whom Bernie Sanders wants to help, are in the vast majority. It should be no problem getting rid of the establishment.
Is it because Bernie is a socialist? So what! Socialism is the only solution to all the troubles of the American people of the lower classes with poor wages.
“Given the recent spread of the delta variant, including among those Americans both most likely to face evictions and lacking vaccinations, President Biden would have strongly supported a decision by the CDC to further extend this eviction moratorium to protect renters at this moment of heightened vulnerability,” the White House said in a statement. “Unfortunately, the Supreme Court has made clear that this option is no longer available.”
From what I can see, Trump's SCOTUS has denied Biden the authority to extend the moratorium by executive order (my loose interpretation). Of course, as everybody hates Biden because he's not either The Donald or Bernie, I can't expect anybody to give him the benefit of the doubt.
So please carry on with your hand-wringing.
The Democrats did nothing to really fight Trump's SC picks. They approved them all. They are worthless!
Even the so called "progressives" in the Democratic Party do nothing but talk about stuff like Medicare For All, then when a grassroots movement like #forcethevote comes along, and the rally last weekend, they're nowhere to be seen. But I guess they keep people deluded that someday they might actually fight for progressive issues. It will never happen.
Why should someone with such an abysmal record get the benefit of the doubt? I didn't expect anything from him, and so far I was right. He has alteady dropped bombs on Syria twice. That I expected and I am glad I didn't vote for him.
The only real hope for the U.S. is a massive grassroots movement behind a third-party. Otherwise, this country will continue to circle the drain.

The problem is the DNC will never allow candidates like Sanders to get the nomination. The system is rigged in favor of the corporate shills like Biden. The corporate donor class runs everything.

Latest situation:
Biden calls on Congress to extend eviction moratorium set to expire Saturday
I should point out though that the YT video the OP linked simply meant to attack Biden. I have noticed over the years that narcissistic third-party voters, who delight in scolding the rest of us for not understanding there's no real difference between the two major US political parties, seem to invest most of their intellectual energy into attacks on Democrats, usually labelling them as both "neocons" and "neolibs" as though affixing such labels to their target ends the discussion. Rarely do they seem to see any need to criticize Republicans. Coincidence?
BTW I know some of these people IRL.
It's a shame a couple of non-US citizens chose to seize upon this and discuss it as though it were something to be taken seriously.
Biden is also waffling on marijuana legalization. There are too many people doing hard time right now just for possession.Especially POC.
This would reduce prison overcrowding and make room for the really nasty violent people that need to be incarcerated.
My family member is doing time right now because of marijuana.

The scolding is valid because it's the truth. All you have to do is look at the complete continuity between Dem and Pub adminstrations. On top of that, Dems actually do more damage because, just like what's happening now, the media gives them complete cover and the left just goes to sleep.
Nice try at demonizing third-party party voters. It's tired, boring, and you're playing right into the hands of the propagandists.
If Biden actually does extend the moratorium, he'll get credit from me. But I don't see it happening.

This is complicated and it would help me to know what part of the world you live in, but US society can't be easily partitioned between Upper Class and Lower Class in the same manner as pre-WWII Britain might have been. The percentage of people who are truly destitute, i.e. would consider begging as a way to get their next meal, is quite small. The bulk of the "underclass" basically has shelter and food although the quality is poor. The major divide is either urban/rural or white/black. But lower class whites tend to identify with rural culture whereas lower-class blacks tend towards an "urban" mindset. The rural mindset is extremely individualistic. Part of that comes from the fact that the government generally ignored people in the countryside for most of US history, therefore rural Americans survived by managing on their own and have little experience of benefitting from government anti-poverty policies per se. Instead, they learn to "game the system" by fabricating evidence to prove themselves eligible for disability benefits etc. but that just makes them ever more cynical regarding how the government deals with citizens. Another related phenomenon is the role of guns in their lives. For rural whites, guns are a major part of their survival strategy whereas in the cities guns are mostly used either to commit crimes or to defend against criminals. This is the bulk of our "lower class" and, although I don't know whether what I just said leads to this conclusion, the fact is their first concern is preserving privileges they have always enjoyed which includes the freedom to fend for themselves which includes having whatever and however many firearms they choose, and they have zero confidence that the government would ever do anything to genuinely improve their lives, no matter what sort of promises some Democrat politicians might make.
I guess blacks mostly see rural life as something to escape from no matter how bad their lives may be in the city. I can guarantee you well over 50% of blacks supported Biden in the last election. Rural whites made common cause with better-off urban and suburban whites who support Trump mostly because nothing Trump did or said threatened those things they believe are most important in their lives.

There are movements, but the third parties are pretty much locked out of the electoral process, because they're a threat to the oligarchs.

Really? I don't think I've ever known anyone who "worships" Biden. It's my impression that most moderate and left-leaning people see Biden as just a normal politician, with normal politician flaws, whereas Trump was glaringly unfit for office.

Maybe that was too strong of a word, but that's the impression I get as a non-American. It was even more pronounced when he first took office. It's nice to know he's considered as a normal politician with flaws. Everyone is only human.

Given that the Democrats were a minority in the Senate, there wasn't much they could do to stop Trump's SC picks. But where did you get the idea that the Democrats actually voted to "approve" them???

A lot of people passionately supported Biden, but mainly just because he wasn't Trump. The election was a fight between those who hated Trump and those who loved Trump. In either case, it was all about Trump.

Agreed on the need for a massive grassroots movement, but I don't think a third party is the answer.
We just need more a lot more successful elections of progressive Democrats like AOC, in Congress, in state legislatures, and various local offices. Once there are enough progressive Democrats elected to Congress and various local offices, it will then become feasible to elect one as President as well -- at least if we don't have a right wing coup.
But electing enough progressives to political office will be possible only if there is a massive, well-organized grassroots progressive movement independent of any political party apparatus.

To my knowledge, nobody worships Biden. Many people worship Trump. Leaders who are worshipped are by definition dictators. I suppose I should be ashamed to admit that I've been rather pleased with Biden's performance so far, given what he has to work with.
