I was expecting more people to go for both. I didn’t choose both because I feel like that’s already a given. Very, very few people are advocating for full-term abortions (and probably even fewer women would want them).

I’d put the cutoff somewhere around viability while including exceptions for things like health issues or complications.

I'm surprised myself that there weren't more votes for "both." I've known a few people, mostly women, who felt that way.

It all boils down to personal beliefs vs understanding that nobody has the right to impose their beliefs on anyone else. I wish that was a growing trend.

I should clarify:

My personal choice has nothing to do with religion, God, or sin.

I'm not low-key virtue signalling or suggesting everyone with choice should choose "no".
I fully support anyone who makes the difficult decision to terminate.

I chose no because it was right for me, and I knew I could manage.
That doesn't mean it's right for everyone else.
It doesn't mean I would risk my life for the baby, either.

A choice is a choice whether yes or no.


I guess because in American politics pro-life is primarily represented as being against abortion is why I feel it's important to make a distinction.

I don't think many people would select "both" because "pro-life" is mostly a rhetorical trick by the anti-abortion crowd. Pro-choice isn't "anti-life" or "mandatory abortions". It's "abortions for some, tiny American flags for others".
