have we brought up Asexuals?

their sexuality is defined by both their attraction and behavior... yet i bet it's more on the attraction thing... as most have no interest to experiment at all

but if they met someone and fell in love with the person....

if they got into a relationship (gay/straight)... and had sex with their love interest (not their friend  )

does that make them automatically gay or straight?

plz dont dodge question by going the "desire/urge" route.

Sounds like a simple question, but it's been suggested that a person can be gay without wanting to have homosexual sex.

When/how was that suggested?

closet homosexuals who have been raised up in cultures where it's okay to hate gay people. namely areas like the bible belt.

Gay and straight aren't about sexual activity. There are gay and straight asexuals. Furthermore its possible to have sex with someone you love with your heart, and are hugely attracted to, but still have no desire for the sex, or not get enough enjoyment out of it to repeat it (I know I've been there - hetero-romantic asexual here, currently in a relationship with another asexual because for obvious reasons entering relationships with sexuals isn't a wise idea)

Or on the same side of the coin, a bisexual doesn't stop being bisexual and automatically become straight just because they are in a sexual relationship with someone of the same sex.
