I said some of Putin's western supporters are part of the traditional left. That's not at all synonymous with what you're claiming I've said.


I guess you and I are defining the "traditional left" differently. Marxist-Leninists who support Putin are not, in my view, a part of the traditional left. First, Putin has really not been around all that long. Second, there is no way of knowing whether these same Marxist-Leninists would have supported Putin, or a similarly minded neofascist, a generation earlier.
