I'm sure most would. But many wouldn't. Some, here in the UK, support the terrorist actions. Others, although not supporting them, would be unlikely to give much help in informing on their Muslim brothers. That, alas, is human nature — it's inevitable that people of similar race, religion and culture will stick together. You N American Christians are probably no different.

Personally, I think the "outrage" in the UK Muslim community is somewhat stage-managed — by the media, government, Muslim "community leaders" and the all-pervasive dogma of PC multiculturalism that prevents people believing that any ethnic minority group could be anything other than victims.

this is just racist crap, as is

The first part's fact, the second's opinion, the final part is called humour, matey.

I was walking down the street one day when some guy in a pick-up truck yelled out of the window "Go back to Saudi Arabia!" My first instinct was to yell back "Ok! But I'm from Connecticut!" but it took me forever to figure out why he had done that. I'm about as WASPy as you can get and, as I said, I'm from Connecticut. But then I happened to catch a glimpse of myself in a mirror standing next to a Muslim girl in a headscarf, and I realized that the way I had folded my scarf around my head in such a way as to most efficiently keep my ears warm without interfering with my peripheral vision was almost exactly the same as the traditional way to wear a hijab headscarf.

And that's my random anecdote for today.

On a more substantive note, Islam is a very fast growing religion among all different types of people, including caucasians. Personally, I'm an atheist, but having spent time with a number of Muslims and seen the depth of their faith, I think Islam is the religion I would join if I could believe in God.

Most male converts don't change the way they dress substantially, but a lot of women do take to wearing hijab after their conversions. Are most of these people you're seeing men or women?

There is nothing racist about what I've said. The problem lies in that you have the mentality that perceives anything you don't like as racist. I wonder where that comes from?

I was joking, not talking about anyone, the joke was about religious people as a collective.

My Arabic teacher was Muslim, and born and raised in Iraq. He was also white, as are a number of Arabs. (And of course not all Muslims are Arab.)
