Its not just your own body, its a life. I dont thin your doing it for anyone else either. Luckily i dont have to worry about getting an unwanted pregnancy but i agree with the females that say they couldnt do it. I dont think i could either if i was in that position. I dont understand how anyone can call babies things or parasites in all seriousness.

At least squandered potential said she would do it so fast. That is better than doing it late on. If the government doesnt ban abortions then they should at least bring the time limit down to 8 weeks or something.

When it comes to civil rights the lefties arguing for too much without a thought for children are as bad as those on the right that are trying to deny civil rights that would be considered as a given.

It seems as though everybody has gotten off topic a little. We all have our differences. Let's settle them. The Mature Forum is a good place for us to continue the Abortion Debate. Let's concentrate on George Bush.

Search google for "failure" and you'll see what I mean.

Actually, its "miserable failure". Ah, the wonders of Googlebombing.

failure works by itself :-)

"parasites" "scoop it out", is this really what goes on in women's minds? This thread could make a mysogynist out of anyone.

Bush isn't perfect, but he's alright. I've voted for him twice and would not be opposed to voting for him again had the constitution allowed him to run again.

no. not mine. and not any woman i know, although i can see how some women might feel like that.

but abortion is a difficult subject to comment upon if one hasn't been involved in such a situation, as i'm sure i've posted somewhere else.

but - as Cockney Rebel said - it would be better to discuss abortion in the mature forum.

and ya know what? if i ever get pregnant i'm getting the thing scooped out so fast, and you know why? for ITS sake. i never asked to be born into this f*** up world and i wouldn't make anyone else go through it either. abortion is merciful in my eyes.

I agree whole-heartedly. Not only do I not want children, but I have a very quick temper. I'd probably abuse the poor thing. And I don't think its fair for a child to be forced into the world in this day and age, anyway. :x

Thanks, Sean. By voting for that bastard, you've helped make the planet his playground.

First of all dont get pregnant second of all put him up for adoption and third of all, lots of people like life so just because you apparently dont doesnt give you a right to kill a baby off.

Vertivert, im not involved in beating up old grannies but il keep my right to have an opinion on that as well. Anyway your a mod now so couldnt you split the thread into two? Moving the abortion debate into the mature forum.

Highly improbable. If you dont want lumped with little Jack, get the guy to wear a slack! No plans for baby Jill ? Then use the pill!

Then if you dont want the baby put him up for adoption. There are plenty of couples that would take him/her.
