I think the better title of the thread should be, "Stuff White People With Money Like." Most white people would not enjoy many of things things because they couldn't afford to do them. We all like to think every White person is living the American dream. But, for some that dream is more like an illusion.

That section reminds me of Washington, DC. Most of the residents are black, but, where I was living (Falls Church, in the Virginia suburbs) I don't remember seeing a single black person. And, in the places where I usually went, there were some blacks, but generally not a lot. Then, one day, switching subway trains in a different part of town, I was thinking "Huh? Where did all these black folks come from?" The black population is heavily concentrated in the Southeast quadrant of the city. It is like some sort of separate, parallel universe.

I just think white people have accomplished an incredible amount of good in the world, like technology, medicine, and frankly almost all of the civilization we enjoy in America and Europe to this day -- to the extent that "Ha ha: white people!" seems like a just-plain-uneducated sentiment. It's a joke which premise is flawed, making it unfunny. I don't think that deriding someone based on the color of their skin makes any sense whatsoever. It's done in humor, you say? Well, maybe it is, but the premise of the joke is still ill-concieved: It makes no sense to say that a white person is silly because he's white. And, of course, such a sentiment is hurtful. It's one of those jokes that's just too brainless to laugh at, IMO.
I have no problem with a few clever jabs about white stereotypes, but to start a whole website for it? Gimme a break. Seems a bit heavy-handed to me, and on the hurtful side.
