It's just a matter of emotional maturity.

Hmm, I think you mean sexual maturity; which in males means a greatly reduced sex drive. The thing is, there are plenty of old men who still have sexual impulses cuz even elderly men can still father childe. That is, IF they can still get it up :lol:

Women, wrapped in bags, in western dress, or nude can be considered in many ways. I have no difficulty in ignoring their state of dress and addressing them as fellow humans. Women can indicate sexual signs in almost any state and this is more a matter of body gesture than anything else. At least to me.
:roll:

Well you're unlike +99% of men in this world Sand. Most men WILL feel sexual impulses towards an attractive woman in revealing attire. The same is true for most women(AND gay guys :P ) looking at a studly man in a T-shirt and jogging shorts.
I donno how old you are but EVEN at my age MOST guys look at young women who are attractive and wearing sexy revealing clothes and think of them in a sexual way. Here in the US its illegal to run around naked in public places except at specifically designated areas(like nude beaches/resorts/colonies). I firmly believe this is why people wear clothes-even when its warm enough out that clothes arent necessary.

Except burkas aka niqabs would be pretty uncomfortable to wear I think. Plus how would you know who's who. Obama might be in one of those. 8O

I'm not a racist, but perhaps it's time to teach some of the more conservative muslims that they don't have to take the Qur'an that litteraly?

Firstly, Racism = discrimination on the basis of race.

Islamophobia = discrimination/phobia against/of Muslims.

Secondly, why do you want to impose your beliefs on people who consider your culture as the spawn of satan? Lol. As far as Muslims are concerned, all non-Muslims are dirty sinners, with no manners and respect for women.

Hah, I totally forgot. Mother Mary wears the hijab. When Christian nuns cover themselves, they're "practicing their religion", but when Muslim women do it, they're "being oppressed". Baba Ali made this interesting video on his reminder on the hijab.

A-MEN! I want to impose My beliefs on all these midguided westerners who think that Women should be able to show off their bodies wherever and whenever they feel like it but men shouldnt be allowed to catcall, stare, and make lewd comments and/or stick cameraphones up their miniskirts :lol: , but I'll refrain(for now) :wink: .

A nation-wide news channel in Delhi, NDTV 24x7, had experimented by sending a skimpy clad model into Delhi's busiest commercial areas, with hundreds of guys staring at her. Then, they asked their viewers to send an SMS declaring whether they think it was the woman's fault or the mens fault. Apparently, over 70% voted in favour of it being the woman's fault for wearing the clothes, without realising that the traditional Indian saree reveals approximately the same area of skin that the model revealed. Generally, we tend to think that our fashion and culture is superior to others, without realising the drawbacks.

AT LEAST Indians, even though many are Hindu, have some common sense :D . AFAIC, one of the problems with women in the west-ESPECIALLY young american women is the fact that they have a sense of entitlement.

I'd like to know why men regularly get raped in divorce settlements. The system's skewed. Unfortunately, it seems sexism is perfectly acceptable as long as the men get shafted.

^Don't know anything about that as I'm not a rapist myself or have been in divorces.

I don't believe one gender deserves to be treated better than the other and don't see what it has to do with this topic relating to fashion.

The woman is ALWAYS the victim. Even if she had countless of affairs, stole from the husband repeatedly, and occasionally threw a plate or two at his head, she probably had a good reason to.

^That last statement there is sick.

No one asks to get raped and even if they do, you have self control.

I believe Griff meant raped as in divorce settlements.

Rape = broke.

Now if mean actually did get raped after a divorce settlement (repeatedly), I would be curious to know why and how.

More attention should be paid to sexual assault against men, though. It isn't well recognized because it's mostly psychological, but some men find it incredibly embarrassing to lose their capacity for coherent speech due to some ho's exploitation of their vulnerability. Sadly, we're living in a society that actively takes hilarity in this. WTF?

The burka is ridiculous, though, and it's counter-productive. Social liberalization and egalitarian compassion is the only strategy that has consistently proven itself effective in reducing sexual mischeif and violent crime. Oppressive taboo is like gasoline on the fire.
